Considering that this is supposedly going to wrap up the story of original 6 Avengers, I'm fine with that runtime (if it stays).
Hopefully the Russo's give us a satisfying ending.

This might be a stupid question but 3hr runtime is that including the credits and post credit scenes? I know the last few movies the credits seem to take 15 minutes. That could be because my bladder is about to burst, so that might be an over estimation. Edit: I would be cool with a 3hr cut + 15 min credits, but my bladder would hate it... I think 2hr and 45m + 15 min credits would be more reasonable. I would assume that gets cut down to 2hr and 30m + 15 min credits. Runtimes typically include the credits.

Make it 4 hours with a good old fashioned 20 minute intermission.

Maybe they’ll make it a 3-hour cut, while the theatrical release is going to be cut to 2.5 hrs.

That skill/gift can it be taught because my timing is always off with the bladder/movie conundrum... Yes! Take a seat, my young apprentice! Ghost Ackbar's Handy Tips for Theater UrinationFirst you have to learn to recognize the main story beats. The three act structure is industry standard so it only varies slightly depending on the movie. Act one is usually filled with important set up. Do not leave then. The end of act one should be obvious in most movies. It will conclude with a big "doorway" moment. When Iron Man escapes from the cave... When Bruce burns down the monastery in Batman Begins... Just after this is a calm period. Go now if you have to! From this point on, something important will happen every fifteen minutes of so. A minor conflict will occur 15 minutes into Act Two. Then, 15 minutes later, a bigger moment. Go immediately after these. Act Two will end with a major low point for the hero... Black Panther thrown from the cliff... Stark having his chest piece stolen by Stane. Don't go after this. You'll miss the climax, and the movie is almost over anyway. Note: Every second of a good movie is important! But this guide should help you avoid anything truly important!

Part of me feels like there won't be a post-post-credits scene unless it's something goofy & rewarding for all this work & payoffs to get there. I just don't know which property could possibly get this sure to be most watched movie in the MCU. Black Panther teaming with Captain Marvel? I don't even know if that's in the cards.

...Also, don't buy a large soda I simply plan at least 2 viewings. First to get it in me early & spoiler free. Second to relax & take it in better, & remember bathroom breaks if I need where & when in the movie I want.

I wouldn't mind if Stan Lee's cameo is the last post credit scene. And Marvel Studios tries to get every actor back who had at least one line in the MCU there. (anybody who has died irl, like Powers Booth, Harry Dean Stanton, or Garry Shandling, they can give them the Grand Moff Tarkin treatment.) With all of them just giving Stan Lee a standing ovation.

None of you guys will get this reference but it's brought up at least 4 or 5 times a year with me. When I was way too old not to know the word incontinence, 19 years old I think, I asked way to loudly to a buddy "What's incontinence mean?" My voice tends to carry, it wasn't like I was trying to be loud. Turns out there was a dude shopping on that isle in the drug store. My buddy was mortified from embarrassment. After we passed my buddy whispered the meaning of the word under his breath.

3 hours of McMarvel’s McAvengers? Fuck that. I'm a little confused. I've seen you both defend the MCU and bash it, rather consistently. Which is it? At first I thought it was two different accounts, one of which being a fake troll one with a similar name and common profile picture. Anyway, I'm assuming that one of the two different stances is sarcasm, or rather an ironic mockery of whichever side you are not actually on (most likely the MCU haters). But I'm not completely clear on this. Forgive me if it should be more obvious, but sometimes it's hard to tell on a message board. And plus, I used to see you on IMDb and you never used terms like "McMarvel" to the best of my knowledge. So yeah, I have no idea what I'm seeing.

He is a hater, always raving about D-listers and "McMarvel" and how crappy the films are that he claims to despise yet can't stop discussing. Sad!

At this point, MCU can risk a 3 hr movie. Even if it doesn't match IW's BO, this movie will still certainly make a lot of money. It just has too much momentum to be anything less than successful.
