Since I started the " movies everybody loves but you don't" I thought it was time for the opposite.
I' ll start with The Godfather 3. Is it as good as the first two? no. Is Sofia Coppola miscast? yes. But other than that is a damn good movie. That fact that it's not as good as the first two does not mean anything, as there are not many movies better than those 2
Bewitched. I thought it was adorable and i thought both will Ferrell and Nicole kidman did wonderful jobs. [if they were not portraying the character correctly, the director would have done something about it]
showgirls. dude. what a walk down memory lane.. while watching this movie i love taking a virtual walk and seeing [most of] the areas where it was filmed. jesus. the stardust is gone and there are videos of 'what happened'. super
superman returns. forget the fact that it is only 5 years later and apparently that kid is pulling d's in phys ed but getting a's in science. he should be fucking 4 years old! forget the fact that everyone else [lois, clark, jimmy especially, even lois's boytoy] looks like they are 12 years old! they got the height and the voice down SPOOKY with Brandon routh. scary! and i thought the story was good. lex was a riot.
edited to add...
AMERICAN MARY. god I can't get enough of this movie. love nearly everyone in it- except for those doctors [that Asian one I wanted to flog!]. betty boop was a riot!
BATMAN FOREVER AND BATMAN AND ROBIN. could have maybe done without miss pennyworth but otherwise I thought it was adorable. again, be upset re: the bastardization of Robin/Dick Grayson/Chris Odonnell on the writers and the director]
SPIDER-MAN 3. what cool villains. in fact, the sandman villain I felt so sorry for.
CHARLIE AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY [NOTICE THE TITLE] 'you smell like old people. and soap.'
DENNIS THE MENACE. god what a cute kid! and not that much of a menace as the show. [the show made him a slappable brat]
ALVIN AND THE CHIPMUNKS [okay how the hell did this make two sequels if this one 'sucked'? ]

Godzilla 98, with Matthew Broderick. I watch that all the time. I know the coped the name and had a NON-Godzilla like monster. But for me, it's more fun to watch than Godzilla 2014.
2010 The Year we Make Contact. Most folks like 2001 better, and I liked that one, but for me 2010 is more watchable.
Far North. I don't know that others don't like it, but I never hear folks talk about it. It's an interesting character sketch of some interesting, and, IMHO, good actors.
