I guess this was one of those "memorable moment" episodes on the old Siskel & Ebert show, where Roger Ebert gave a thumbs-up endorsement to the then-newly released film, Cop & 1/2, starring Burt Reynolds and Norman D. Golden II - a "buddy cop" film that most people soundly panned as a real stinkeroo.
I love Gene Siskel's utter astonishment that Ebert would give it a thumbs up. Followed below by another clip from a later episode wherein he asks Ebert to retract his endorsement, to no avail:

I don't think it's that bad of a film. Sure, it's silly, but it's harmless fluff.

I'm sure that was the case because, based on his performance, he looks like he'd rather be elsewhere.

Speed 2: Cruise Control is considered to be one of the worst mainstream movies ever made and it got Two Thumbs Up from Siskel & Ebert.

You know what's even funnier? When they reviewed heaven's gate.
