Lieber Honig - Neu! (Neu) The Crunge - Houses of the Holy (Led Zeppelin) I think The Crunge is interesting. That is actually the only Led Zeppelin album I really care for. There isn't a dud on the whole platter.

Radial Spangle's Syrup Macrame is one of my all-time favourite albums, a proper 5 star classic. Influenced by Sonic Youth, but with a much more pastoral feel at times, there's a deftness of touch around the detail in the tracks that really makes it stand out from all the mid 90s alt-rock masses.
This track is the absolute pits. The Shaggs wouldn't have left this on tape. Dunno why they did it.

Well what's the difference between an album track and song? Not all tracks are songs, and some songs are divided into multiple tracks.

"Mister Moonlight" on Beatles '65 sounds as if some junior high garage band snuck one of their rehearsal tapes onto the album. "It's Only Love" on the Help! album isn't as bad, but it sounds a little like the work of Greg Brady during his songwriting period on The Brady Bunch (when he was writing treacle such as "Clowns never laughed before/Beanstalks never grew/Ponies never ran before...").

I don't think it's horrible, I like the melody, but I agree that some of the lyrics aren't the greatest.

Revolution 9 and Wild Honey Pie - The White Album. Rev 9 is also my least fave 'song' on The White album Gotta go with Boys from The Please, Please Me album by the fabs. Sorry Ringo...we all love you and that etc but..... Their whole "We have to have Ringo sing at least one song per album often resulted in a clunker. What Goes On, Act Naturally...

It's kind of cool that the Beatles even released a track like Revolution #9. It adds to the weirdness and mystique of the White Album. One of my favorite things about the White Album is the segue from the anarchy of Revolution 9 to the rich orchestration of Good Night. Great work from George Martin

Mr. Moonlight and Old Brown Shoe are probably my least favorite Beatles songs. But I love It's Only Love. Have never been big on processing lyrics, depending on the artist.

Speaking of the Beatles: Rubber Soul - Wait Yesterday and Today - Doctor Robert Revolver - For No One Sgt. Pepper - Getting Better All great albums, though. Blimey....as Peter Cook as Derek or Live once said' "It takes all sorts to make a nightclub." Although I think WAiT is so-so and perhaps not great, I adore the other three. Hey ho.
