I'm gonna randomly open it and pick a movie. Tell me if you've seen this film. This is what it says.
Oliver Twist (1982)
Strong cast, headed by George C, Scott as pick-pocket king Fagin is a worthy adaptation of Dicken's tale. Worth watching but the 1948 version still reigns.

I honestly can't tell you which ones I've seen, they all blend together.

Don’t think I have. My most memorable Oliver Twist moments are from school plays.

Cool, concept, maybe try another entry? Dickens adaptions really aren't my forte.

The entry points you in the right direction - David Lean's meticulously made version from 1948. If Oliver Twist is not a particularly compelling narrative for my tastes, the movie is very well done; not least the dark production design of 18th century London.
