Eagles - this doesn't seem like the same team that won the Super Bowl. They are 4-4. And they are struggling with the 3-5 Cowboys. multiple factors blount was a contributor in the ground game last year, they let him walk. ajayi is out for the year. offensive line is banged up and old (see Jason peters). cbs blow - and now they're depleted. jones, mills and now darby are injured the nfc east royally eats a$$. I think they take the division but they are in no way a superior team in the NFC at this point

wentz is old enough
you can't go down the middle like that
either the sideline or end zone - you can't go down the middle and let the clock expire

I wouldn't mind seeing the skins do well because of Alex Smith. I'm not a total mark for the guy but I think he's more maligned than he should be.

Big win for the Cowboys, they’ve really struggled on the road and beating the defending Super Bowl champs on the road on SNF was a huge win, their offense played very well and their defense did enough to get them the win.

Here is my recap and analysis of Week 10’s games
Cowboys defeat Eagles 27-20. Big win for the Cowboys on the road against the defending Super Bowl champs, as they’ve struggled on the road this season, their offense played very well, Zeke had a great game which is a major key for the Cowboys, and Dak had one of his best games of the season, and the Cowboys defense did enough. The Cowboys are on the outside looking in but they have enough talent to be in the playoff race. The Eagles are having a lot of struggles, their defense is mediocre, the secondary has had issues all season and the defensive front isn’t as dominant as everyone thought, and they don’t have a good rushing attack with Ajayi out for the season, they have enough talent to be in the playoff race still but they have a lot of issues that they need to work on.
Rams defeat Seahawks 36-31. Rams offense with another terrific game, Goff and Gurley with outstanding outings, their receiving unit is great, their offense is the best in the NFL IMO, their defense needs improvement IMO, they have some very talented players on that side of the ball, but they give up a lot of yards and their LB unit is iffy, overall the Rams are arguably the NFL’s best team. The Seahawks played them very well and are much better than expected, they have a good rushing game for the first time in several seasons and their O-Line is much improved, but their defense is mediocre, especially the secondary. The Seahawks are in the playoff race in the very deep NFC IMO, it will be interesting to see how they do going forward.
Titans defeat Patriots 34-10. Titans with an impressive win, dominant on both sides of the ball, Mariota with his second strong game in a row, the Titans aren’t great at any position but they aren’t bad at any either, and they always play competitively and have beaten some good teams, they are in the playoff race, both in the AFC South and in the Wild Card. The Pats laid an egg, they didn’t show up at all and were off in every facet, not having Gronk hurts them but they just didn’t show up, I still think they are arguably the AFC’s best team but they need to show up each week.
Browns defeat Falcons 28-16. Browns with a great game, Mayfield was sharp, Chubb had an excellent game, and the defense did a good job of limiting the Falcons explosive offense, the Browns still can improve a lot but they are a much improved team and are in the best shape they’ve been in in years and things are looking up for them. The Falcons laid an egg, they cannot afford losses like this given the hole they are in and their upcoming schedule, with the outstanding offense they have they should be much better than 4-5, the boatload of injuries have hurt them, but they are still a playoff contender with their oustanding offense IMO, Ryan is playing at an MVP caliber level.
Saints defeat Bengals 51-14. The Saints are the NFL’s hottest team and their offense is spectacular, Brees is having another great season and toehold have a lot of weapons around him, and their defense is much improved since the start of the season and is doing a decent job, the Saints are a top tier team and a Super Bowl contender. The Bengals are struggling on defense badly right now and their offense is just slightly above average, so I don’t think they will make the playoffs but they are still in the race IMO.
Chiefs defeat Cardinals 26-14. Chiefs with another dominant win, Mahomes plays very well again, Chiefs have an elite offense, their defense is somewhat iffy IMO but overall they are an elite team and a Super Bowl contender IMO. The Cardinals are rebuilding, I think Rosen will be a solid franchise QB, but they need to add talent around him and strengthen their defense as well.
Bears defeat Lions 34-22. Bears with a big win, Trubisky is playing oustanding right now, and their defense is one of the NFL’s better D’s, they got a lot of pressure on Stafford and they are solid at each unit, the Bears are atop the NFC North and are definitely playoff contenders in the very deep NFC. The Lions have given up on the season IMO, their defense is below average, they traded away their best WR and they are fairly lifeless right now, their 2018 is done IMO.
Packers defeat Dolphins 31-12. Packers get a much needed win, they got a huge game from Aaron Jones on the ground to go along with Rodgers and the passing attack, the Packers are in the playoff race but the NFC is so deep and their schedule is difficult so they are on the outside looking in. The Fins are absolutely lifeless right now, unless Tannehill comes back very soon their season is over, they have some talent but Osweiler isn’t good enough to lead them to the playoffs.
Colts defeat Jaguars 29-26. The Colts get their 3rd straight win and are suddenly back in the playoff race, Luck is playing very well and their offense is good enough to allow them to compete for the playoffs, but their defense is one of the leagues weaker units and that will be a challenge for them. The Jags have been a massive disappointment, Bortles played better today and their offense has improved with Fournette back, but their defense has been massively overrated, they have no pass rush and their secondary has been scorched plenty of times, and their season is done IMO.
Redskins defeat Buccaneers 16-3. The wildly inconsistent Redskins show up and get the win over the Bucs, they are atop the NFC East and are playoff contenders as they have talent at every unit and are in good position but they need to be a lot more consistent. The Bucs offense was limited to only 3 points although Fitzpatrick threw for 406 yards, how the fuck does that happen, their offense has talent and they always put up big numbers in the passing attack but their defense is weak and they are not playoff contenders.
Bills defeat Jets 41-10. The Bills explode on offense with Barkley at QB, getting a QB other than the god awful Peterman makes a huge difference for the Bills, and while they are still one of the least talented teams in the NFL, they can still be competitive with a QB other than Peterman. The Jets were lifeless without Darnold, they still need a lot more talent before they can compete.
Chargers defeat Raiders 20-6. The Chargers are playing very well, they have a lot of talent on both sides of the ball and aren’t getting the attention they deserve IMO. The Raiders are one of the NFL’s worst teams all around, they may get the number 1 pick in the draft and they need to completely rebuild so they can start to be competitive when they move to Vegas.

I agree. But one thing I notice is the Rams are not blowing any team out. All their games are going down to the last minute. And they are winning by only one score or less. Now it seems they have lost Cooper Kupp for the season. It will be interesting to see how they do against Kansas City next week.

I know you're a Falcons fan here and all but honestly I just find this funny. Technically the Packers are ahead of the Falcons in playoff contention right now. (That tie I know) Yet your analysis is that GB is on the outside looking in. (I'd agree there) Then you still hype up the Falcons as a playoff contender. In my mind, they're both on the outside looking in. Hard to say one is on the outside looking in while the other is a "playoff contender" when in a worse position.

Colts - yet another game without allowing a sack. They’ve quietly developed one of the best o-lines in the league. Quenton Nelson was a hell of a pick. Luck is able to go nuts with receivers you’ve never heard of. Frank Reich is the rookie coach of the year. Keep the Ws coming.

Titans playing really well but the Patriots as a whole and Brady in particular just look off. Agreed, the whole team was off. Brady was throwing everything away because he had no time. At least half of his incompletions were intentional throwaways. They really need to retire that sideline pass to Brady play. He embarrasses himself every time they run it. At least this time he actually caught it, but he was as surprised as we were and he tripped over his own feet and fell on his face. They ended up turning it over on downs. The defense was garbage (nothing new), the offense was nonexistent and special teams were awful as well. (Gave up a huge kick return to start the game, 1/2 FGs.) Just a terrible game all around. I thought it was funny how the Titans were celebrating like crazy on the field after the game. Congratulations on being 5-4, I guess? On that note, it's interesting that the Pats' three losses are to teams with a combined 11-16 record. Now they have to sit on this loss over the bye week (maybe they thought this was the bye week?) and see how focused they look against the hapless Jets after Thanksgiving.

Look at it this way, you’re still gonna win the division and be in the playoffs, and Tennessee has shown a degree of competence at times this season. The Eagles are under .500 and just lost to the Cowboys at home.

Belichick was a lot warmer with Vrabel after the game compared to with Patricia after the loss to Detroit. I wonder why that is?

Redskins are going to end up one of those awful #4 seeds hosting a better wild card team. If the playoffs started today they’d play who, Vikings or Panthers? The Skins would probably be underdogs in both games but both teams are beatable.
