I'll start;
I've learned that almost everyone's life experience is different, and that has influenced their view of the world.
I have also learned a lot about subjects that I otherwise would not have been able to discuss.
And I have learned how to NOT feed the trolls.
Anyone else?

I've learned that people who dare to put on the mask of an avatar unmask their uninhibited selves in the process.
I'm amazed how caring/uncaring, feeling/unfeeling, etc, we can be when we can communicate without personal consequence.
I always held in great wonder how diverse we are in opinion, then anonymous message boards happened, and I realized that was the tip of the iceberg.
And it's really wonderful that we all are so different.

I was told a long time ago at my work that "Graveyards are full of indispensable people." and I've seen that in practice over and over. Now, decades later, I have some at my work saying that they wouldn't know what to do without me there. Experience tells me they would figure it out, I just hope they find that out on my terms, not the fates! Lol. |

Some are so busy reading between the lines and interpreting and rebutting what they think has been said that they ignore the actual words that have been written.

We're all human just like everyone else. We all have certain thoughts, feelings, emotions, etc. If someone say something that can be considered weird, it, for some reason, strikes me as normal in a place like this.
