Like a lot of movies I like, I don't think I fully wrapped my head around it the first time. Can't put my finger on why, but recognizing that it was well done, I felt like giving it another go. I picked it up from Redbox to have something to put on in the background (so much of the horror they stock is mindlessly perfect for this), but was pleasantly surprised, knowing nothing going in. Glad I gave it that second watch, enjoyed it quite a bit. Interesting premise with a solid cast and good pacing. I'd recommend it to anyone who's into suspenseful horror.

The synopsis is wrong. Can't believe that I didn't guess the twist! I thought that she was going crazy, or it would be like THE OTHERS.

Because of the wrong synopsis, I thought that Doug was the bad guy.

It's just a psychological thriller film with scary moments and some jump scares in dream sequences. I'm not sure what good thing I'll say about this movie, but the story is really, really weak. No memorable quotes, weak twist and acting. It seems like they tried hard to make a movie like Orphan (2009) which is a strong psychological thriller. It's just a thriller without the thrill. 4/10.
