No, love and sex are separate. Yeah, I admit the sex has a certain aura to it when you're in love. And there have been times when I was in love when I had no sexual attraction to anyone but my lover. But when I look back, the best sex I've ever had was with some anonymous fool in some desolate haunted place.i cant even imagine how that would happen in my life. and i say this with zero judgment. its just different for me. there seems to be such a long process for me to go through mentally - from seeing a stranger to actually wanting to have sex with the stranger. even if they looked like tom cruise (a best looking man on earth if you ask me, scientology aside) if i just saw him on the street i would be like> you look good, lets meet, talk, see a movie, talk some more, get to know each other, think about potentially having sex, date for a while, make out a lot, think about having sex, date some more and then MAAAAYBE have sex... like i can think the person is the best looking one in the world but for me to want their private parts inside my private parts there is a long way.... i wonder it this will change with age. i wouldn't mind (morally) ever trying a one night stand or sex with a stranger, provided its safe, but i cant even imagine what would have to happen to me to actually want to do it. |

I just watched another Australian horror film called Killing Ground. Aussies have the psycho-in-the-middle-of-nowhere genre in horror locked down. Even though it's usually the same premise, they're always pretty scary. Cargo was pretty good too, but that was about the zombie apocalypse in the outback. |

Even though it's usually the same premise, they're always pretty scary. Cargo was pretty good too, but that was about the zombie apocalypse in the outback. What I liked about Mr. "head on a stick" up there is that he was an average joe. He's not a superhuman zombie wearing a mask. It felt more "real", and of course the desolate isolation of the outback adds to the whole thing.
The horror genre is one that when something new comes everyone jumps on it and imitates it to death, but it's also one that has given us some bravura directing and original concepts. When its good its really good, when its bad its really bad.

I'd recommend Killing Ground and Cargo, both on Netflix. I'll look out for them. I recommend The Day, starring Ashley Bell. Not aussie, but I have feeling it's probably similar to Cargo. |

I find it to be vastly more fulfilling when you are in love with (or at least connected to) your partner. It's not necessary in order to have a good time, but if you know what makes the other person tick, it just makes it all the better.
