This thread brought to mind how to fit the Craig era amongst the others... 1. Connery - 1 masterpiece, 3 greats, 1 very good, & 1 disaster. 2. Craig - 1 lots of fun, 1 fresh, 1 pretty alright, & 1 mediocre. 3. Moore - large scale Bond, kept things moving even with some sinkholes late in the game. 4. Lazenby - one of the most respected films in the canon, lacklustre actor. 5. Brosnan - rescued the entire f'n show from the ash heap, albeit vastly diminishing returns. 5. Dalton - right guy at the wrong time with the wrong role. What would be the films for each of the criteria you listed for Connery and Craig? What are Moore's sinkholes? Russia, Dr.No-Goldfinger-Thunderball, Eyes, & Diamonds Quantum, Casino, Skyfall, & Spectre Golden Gun, Moonraker, Octopussy, & View to a Kill |

Oh yeah. I remember when that came out. It was something for womens day. Im all for respecting women but Im not sure why Bond in drag has to do with respecting women. |

Casino Royale - Excellent, one of the best of the series in my opinion.
Quantum of Solace - Good. A bit too derivative of the Bourne films, but still good.
Skyfall - Very Good.
Spectre - Disappointing.

Oh yeah. I remember when that came out. It was something for womens day. Im all for respecting women but Im not sure why Bond in drag has to do with respecting women. It was done to humiliate and degrade the character because he's masculine and Craig went along with it like a total cuck. |

Excellent: Casino Royale, Skyfall Not the worst, but not the best: Quantum of Solace Awful: Spectre
Lets hope he rounds it out with one last good one. I think it can be. |

Casino Royale (2006) - My favourite Bond film.
Quantum of Solace (2008) - Disappointing after Casino Royale, but I've come to dislike it a bit less over time. The camerawork in the opening scene is still chaotic as ever, though.
Skyfall (2012) - I hate this movie.
Spectre (2015) - I don't hate this movie like a lot of people seem to.

I personally think he is the worst actor to play James Bond to date and he comes across as kinda boring and wooden and is missing a lot of the charisma and humour the likes of Roger Moore and Pierce Bronson brought to the character. It is not so much the actor's fault than the writers of the movies since he is only playing James Bond the way they want him to but he doesn't feel like James Bond at all and it is like they have rebooted the franchise with a completely different character who has nothing in relation to the original character and are just calling him James Bond and I know a lot of other Bond fans feel that way. I am not even sure if it is meant to be the same character to be honest since they have replaced M, Q and Miss Moneypenny multiple times throughout the franchise and we know for a fact they aren't the same characters and him having a Wife who was murdered means nothing since that wouldn't be uncommon for somebody in that line of work.
