Defend ourselves from what? Oh, you want to be cute, eh? Okay. I'll play along. How about defend ourselves from a home invasion by a brutal gang of punks, not unlike the one presented in the classic film "A Clockwork Orange" by the great Stanley Kubrick?

Retreating to a secure "panic room" is one means of defense, so any Christian can answer "Yes" without qualms.
So, is your question really more about a Christian's use of lethal force if he think it's necessary?

Defend ourselves from what? Globalists, satanists, and cultural marxists. Or so I'm told.

Apparently Donald Trump has been bad for firearms stock prices so far, though the future may be brighter for the category. Is the purpose of the OP to bolster the market?

Although it’s true I’m very cute that wasn’t my intention. So basically any form of violent attack? Yes Christians should defend themselves and their families

Yes, assuming that circumstances don't allow a retreat to a panic room.

You've got it all figured out, don't you, Prog? Everything is very simple to you, isn't it?

I believe there are a lot of men, Christian men, that fantasize about killing a violent intruder. They get angry just thinking about it, and dream about how satifying it would be to shoot them. I believe there is a part of them that is unfulfilled. The part that desires to be a hero. And the part that desires to punish those who would do them harm. But instead we should hope we never have to kill anyone, even an evil person. Agreed.

What about using lethal force to defend someone who is NOT a family member? Does it then suddenly become unchristian? I guess you mean like Ernest Borgnine did in that movie "Violent Saturday." My feeling on it is that if it's acceptable to use lethal force to defend a family member then it's also acceptable to use lethal force to defend someone who is NOT a family member.
