I don't think it's as bad as people make it out to be.

They were released nine months apart!? I had no idea about that.
Even though I don't remember this one much, I remember disliking it when compared to the first two.

They were released nine months apart!? I had no idea about that. Even though I don't remember this one much, I remember disliking it when compared to the first two. From Child's Play 3 IMDB Trivia page: Under pressure from Universal, screenwriter Don Mancini was asked to begin writing the third film even before the second film was released. Hence, this picture was released only nine months after Child's Play 2 (1990). Mancini has called it his least favorite because he felt he was out of ideas so soon after Part 2.

Underrated sequel. I’ve always enjoyed it. Love the barber death scene and his comeback line that he delivers.

The military school setting helps some but it's not as good as 1 or 2. I still like it better than Bride or Seed tho.

I've always liked it. And i think it's the darkest of the whole series.

This is the point at which the series lost me. I didn't particularly care for teenage Andy and the setting was in no way memorable. It was always going to be a tough job matching what came before (especially in light of the superb final showdown in Child's Play 2) and this movie predictably failed to do just that.
