In today's time is the term chinaman (not talking about cricket word) offensive to Chinese people? I think the chinaman as cricket term might be still older and some of the stories on how it was coined may be exaggerations. If they have to rename chinaman then they should call it Paul Adams ball. Personally, I do keep the word if chinaman is not offensive anymore. But what a thrilling series we saw between Aussies and men in blue. The best Test cricket I have seen since Saffers vs England in 2009-10.

It's time to consign the Guardian's SJW tendencies to the past.
We should rename googly... the raper.
For the lulz.

Slow week clearly. Wasn't this written SMH journalist Andrew Wu? Edit: nope. Apparently one is plagiarising the other. Think I'll forward this to Sargon of Akkad and see if it makes "This Week in Stupid."

I get the whole "Chinaman is a derogatory term" line. Especially in ultra PC 2017 where some people get offended by clapping and a significant percentage of people in Western Society have lost their shit because a few elections and plebiscites haven't gone their way. That being said, like most SJW causes, they histrionically shout objections, but offer no insight on solutions. Is left arm wrist spin good enough? Next, I'm waiting for a Greek priest to complain about left arm orthodox - why isn't it left arm Presbyterian or left arm baptist ?

Chinaman is not the preferred nomenclature - Asian-American, please.
