I'm sorry to hear about your aunt, Deb, but I'm glad to hear she's recovering. I love beetles. We don't have that exact species of Christmas beetle here in Norway, but we have some similar ones. They're not as abundant, though, if you want to see one you really have to look for it. I do like looking for beetles, and especially moths. When it gets dark I put my headlight on and go moth-hunting (only armed with a camera). It's really interesting to see all the weird and wonderful species that come out at night. 🦋 My cat has shown zero interest in watching TV. She'll sit on the window sill and watch the birds for hours instead, while making this weird little cat sound. Oooh, I would LOVE another season of Lois & Clark! Let's hope it happens. We'll be getting Batwoman on streaming here next month, which I will definitely check out. I just wish we'd get some more info on when/if Swamp Thing will be available here.
Yes, I thought Amazon would have s6 of Agents of Shield available to preorder by now, but no. And yes, I do order from Amazon UK, as they have lots of dvds that I just can't get a hold of here in Norway. It's often much cheaper too. I have to keep it under a certain amount when I order, though, to avoid paying additional taxes on it. Dvds under 350 Norwegian Kroners (about 57 Australian Dollars), and that includes shipping costs, are free to import, but anything above that amount and you have to pay VAT plus a processing fee on top of that. In those cases it ends up costing more than it's worth. 101 AUD for one season of The Gifted?! Oh, hell no. Yep, I would have definitely waited for a sale then. I haven't heard of Elsa Bloodstone, but if it's anything similar to Buffy the Vampire Slayer then yes, it's gotta be good. Thanks. We had dinner at my Aunt's house last night and the nurse is very happy with her progress so far and tomorrow afternoon she will be going to see the Doctor and she is feeling a little nervous about that 'cause it will be the longest she has walked since she got out of hospital but she will have my Uncle with her and my cousin (Jennifer) is going to be with her too. I am glad she hasn't had any more accidents since she has got out and she hasn't felt dizzy or like she is going to fall over again which is a very good sign and she doesn't like having to use a walking frame and can't wait until she can walk like normal again and I think she will only have to use that for a few weeks just so she has something to lean on. Ohh you are braver than I am with beetles. I am not a fan of insects and creepy critters especially not spiders and we get huge huntsmen spiders on our back windows some nights and we have had them get inside the house and come around to the side of our backyard where our pets go to do their business when it is raining and Beccy usually kills them for me 'cause I don't like going near them 'cause I am worried they will jump on me and I have seen videos where they jump off walls onto people and if that happened to me I would probably squeal the house down and run.
One thing I am even more afraid of than spiders are snakes and I hate snakes and growing up I spent a lot of time on farms and orange orchards and had to run away from some of them and Beccy just kills them and she has no fear of them and has always been brave like that and she says it is 'cause she got used to them but I could personally never get used to snakes. See, dark is the least likely time I will go outside and explore and I love going out in the day but the nighttime is when all the critters come out and while fascinating I trust the daytime critters more. That is funny about your cat and our pets enjoy the TV and what they love is music and we leave the TV on the music channels for them sometimes so they can listen to it and there are certain songs our Malshis (Occy and Sally) like and they will roll over on their backs and kick their arms and legs up into the air like they are dancing to them and Occy does it the most but then there are some songs they don't like and we have had to turn them off 'cause they growl and make cry sounds. Our pets are funny with a lot of things and certain sounds and even voices will set them off.
I would love to see another season of 'Lois and Clark: The New Adventures of Superman' too and even though Warner Bros blocked the writers from using a lot of Superman villains which is why they had a Lord Noir instead of General Zodd Dean Cain is still my favourite Superman and Teri Hatcher is my favourite Lois Lane and I also liked their versions of Jimmy Olsen and Perry White and Perry White was funny with his Elvis obsessions and how he would always talk about his Wife, Alice and you would see her from the back and the bottom but would never see her face. It would be awesome if they could bring it back for another season or even a TV movie and I would love to see 'Smallville' return too and I think there could be a possibility the latter could happen in some shape or form whether it is live action or animation. The 'Arrowverse' owes a lot to 'Smallville' and as Michael Rosenbaum recently said the shows wouldn't exist without it and he is right in many ways since 'Arrow' was originally meant to be a spinoff of 'Smallville' with Justin Hartley playing the role again and it was the popularity of the Green Arrow in 'Smallville' that got the character his own show.
I just read we are also getting a 'Batwoman' movie and Kristen Stewart is being rumoured to play Kate Kane (as seen in the link below) and that is going to be interesting having a 'Batwoman' TV Show and movie at the same time and while I like Batwoman and am looking forward to it I have always liked Batgirl/Barbara Gordon the most and if they can have Batwoman in both they should be able to have Batgirl in both too and the same with Jason Todd as the Red Hood in the movies since he is Robin in 'Titans.' I have heard there are going to be a few Bat Family characters appearing in Batwoman and Luke Fox (Batwing) is confirmed and will be in it from the start and Kate's cousin, Bette Kane (Flamebird/ Hawkfire) will most likely join at some point too. I hope you get to see 'Swamp Thing' too and it is just disappointing the show has been cancelled 'cause I feel they could have done so much with it and I keep hearing more of the things they had planned and that just annoys me more 'cause we won't see them. Thanks for letting me know the price differences between our countries and I am sorry to hear you have to pay so much for imports and you would think they would want more of your money and they would be charging you more to buy less.
We have a similar type of online tax our government introduced last year and when they first introduced it we were blocked from the American Amazon store for months 'cause they didn't agree to it but eventually they let us back on and I think they lost a lot of their Australian customers so that is why Amazon changed their mind. Our Online Taxes are not as bad as that but there are politicians that want to put them up more and it is annoying 'cause it is not like we can buy a lot of these items in our stores here and these are mostly albums, books, movies and other things we can only get from America but they lie and say it is sending the stores here broke.

I'm glad to hear your aunt is continuing to get better, Deb.
I do have a hint of arachnophobia, but for the most part I like spiders (just as long as they're not ON me, then I must confess I shriek girlily and try to brush them off me in a panic ). They're very useful when it comes to keeping other insects and flies away. We probably have an easier time here in Norway when it comes to spiders. None of our spiders are dangerous, and they're pretty small. I think it would be fun (yeah, I'm a bit of a freak ) to see one of your enormous Australian Huntsman spiders, but if it jumped at me I'm pretty sure I'd scream and run too.
I like snakes. We only have three species of snakes here in Norway, and only one of those is venomous. All of our snakes are protected, though, and it's illegal to kill them.
Thanks for the Batwoman movie link. Kristen Stewart would be interesting in the role, I think. She got a lot of hate for the Twilight movies, but she's not a bad actress.

Kristen Stewart would be interesting in the role, I think. She got a lot of hate for the Twilight movies, but she's not a bad actress. Yeah. It is great news and my Aunt's condition is continuing to improve every day and she has been walking around without her walking frame a bit at home lately and she is still using it when she goes out places and making sure it is close to her but when we went to visit her last she was walking around the lounge room and kitchen without it and I should have known nothing would keep her down and she is up and ready to take on the world. My Aunt was okay going to the Doctor before and she didn't enjoy having to use the walking frame out there 'cause it took her longer to walk to the Doctor than it usually does but she didn't have any problems out there either and she told me the Doctor said she is going well and the nurse is no longer coming every day. I have never had to use a walking frame before so I can't relate but I have used crutches in the past and I fell off the roof one time by accident and I was on crutches after doing that for weeks and couldn't put my foot down and thankfully it wasn't that bad 'cause people have died falling off roofs and that was the second time I was crutches and I have had a lot of accidents over the years and I am lucky to still be walking with some of the things I did when I was younger and I had no fear of those things back then.
I think a lot of people are scared of spiders even people who won't admit it so I am not ashamed of it and I will kill smaller spiders and if we did have a big spider come in our house and it was going near our pets and Beccy wasn't home I would kill it and I would probably look for the biggest and hardest thing I could find and wack the crap out of it until it was dead and I did do that with something once when I was younger and my Uncle was telling me I didn't have to hit it anymore 'cause it was dead. I will kill cockroaches without any hesitation as long as they aren't flying around and our cat, Vulpix kills bugs and cockroaches and if a bug gets into our house and she sees it she will jump up and go after it and wack it with her paws and you will be wondering what she is doing 'cause she will literally pounce or charge over to get it. Spiders do keep other insects away but I would rather have the other insects than a huge spider and I have seen some really huge ones over the years that are bigger than the size of my hand and furry and those ones always give me the creeps.
If you want to hear about something terrifying there was a huge red bellied black snake captured in Queensland the other day (which you can see below) and it was 1.8 metres long and looking at the size of it I would squeal my lungs out if I had that coming at me and that thing is massive and it is like some type of dinosaur snake and the article is saying it is out of Jurassic Park. We have a few different types of species of snakes here in Australia and I don't know all of them but I always hear brown snakes are some of the most dangerous and you should avoid them and call a professional to get them and there was a brown snake at my old Primary School one day and I didn't see it but it came after one of the students and they were lucky to get away. Our snakes are not protected here and we have a number of animals that are protected but it is legal for you to kill snakes and I think it is also legal for us to kill crocodiles but I can't imagine anybody being crazy enough to attempt that. We have some nasty ones here and thankfully they don't come where we live but there are certain areas in our country where people live who have crocodiles get in their front and backyards. We also have Komodo Dragons and there was one that escaped years ago and was spotted in our area several times but I never saw it and then there was a black panther that was spotted by a few people and that terrified many residents.
You're welcome for the Batwoman news and I think you are right about Kristen and she deserves a chance especially since people are willing to give Robert Pattinson a chance to play Batman when he was in the 'Twilight' movies too and I don't know if you have heard the latest news about the next big 'Arrowverse' crossover but aside from Tom Welling and Erica Durance returning to play Clark Kent and Lois Lane again it is being reported Lynda Carter is going to play Wonder Woman again and that would be awesome to see and my Aunt would love that and if they are going to have an older Wonder Woman they might also have a younger actress play Wonder woman in it too and have an Arrowverse Wonder Woman. I don't see why they couldn't have one on TV at the same time as the movies 'cause it is not like people are going to get them mixed up and did you know they were going to have Wonder Woman in 'Smallville' but Warner Bros sadly blocked the writers from using the character? They apparently had all these plans for her and were even going to try and set up a Wonder Woman spinoff show and it was odd they blocked them when we hadn't had Wonder Woman in live action for ages.

I have to admit, I'm very glad we don't have those^ snakes in Norway.
I can relate to being accident-prone. Sometimes I feel like a magnet for accidents just waiting to happen. I've fallen off a few roofs, too. The highest roof I fell off of was our barn roof, but thankfully there was snow on the ground at the time, so I didn't hurt myself too bad. A couple of days ago I was just going to kill a fly, but put a little too much force into my swing and put my hand straight through my window, breaking it. I got a couple of scrapes on my hand, but, more annoyingly, the damn fly got away.

I didn't know Australia had black panthers. They're gorgeous animals, but yeah, seeing one in your backyard would be quite the shock. We 'only' have bears and wolves and the likes here in Norway. Out of all of our predators, the wolf is probably the most feared and hated (unreasonably so, in my opinion). The wolf is an endangered species here, yet the government allows hunting them. Wolves are a touchy subject here, the country's basically divided in half, one half hates them and wants them all dead and gone, and the other half wants a sustainable wolf population.
Yes, I heard the good news about Tom Welling and Erica Durance being in the new Arrowverse crossover event. I haven't watched the last couple of crossover events, but I might just have to watch this one.
I thought it was funny how Legends of Tomorrow explained how they skipped the crossover last year, and then how that came back to bite them in the ass this year.
