Yes, I agree. I was surprised too when that happened. I'm not too familiar with the comics, but that did seem like too easy of an ending for that character.
Lobo is an intriguing character, and it will indeed be interesting to see in which direction they take him. 
Well, we know he is still alive now so it looks like I was right except I thought he might have been in control of Seyg's body but it appears he is inside of Seyg and Seyg is still in control and can use some of his powers but he only has a limited amount of time before Braniac takes full control over his body as confusing as that sounds.  The reason I thought he had to still be alive was 'cause Braniac is one of Superman and Supergirl's most powerful villains and it would take a lot more than what Seyg has been shown to be capable of in this show to destroy him 'cause when Superman and Supergirl have defeated him he keeps coming back and I don't know if you watched 'Smallville' but Braniac was in that show and was played by James Marsters except he was in a human form while we see him in his real comic book form in 'Krypton.' He is also in 'Supergirl' now - a version of him anyway called Braniac 5 and Branaic 5 is the good Braniac from the future who was reprogrammed by the Legion of Superheroes to be a hero and he has emotions too and was one of Supergirl's love interests in the comic books. Lobo is an interesting and I just read recently the Syfy Channel have plans for a 'Lobo' TV Show which will spinoff from 'Krypton' so he is most likely going to become an antihero in this and I am interested in what time the show will be based and I think it will be based in the present on Earth but they will keep the same actor. 
Yes, I watched Smallville (and I have the whole show on dvd). I have only watched the first two seasons of Supergirl so far, but I will definitely watch the rest at some point. 
A Lobo TV show set in the present on Earth would be interesting.

Another excellent pic selection for this fine new TV Show here gspdude .
I know the AMC Commercial said this was " a must see episode "
( and it was of course ) but it looks like next weeks one is not to be missed also  .
IMPO - This new show is really starting to pick up on the storyline nicely .
I almost had a heart attack   when a certain favorite character
we both like here was hurt in an accident
( but it appears she may be alright - we can only hope so )  .
Thanks so much gspdude for this awesome show reminder too  .

That's an excellent point there gspdude
my hubby said the exact same thing as you did here he also watches this show with me on Sunday nights ( and Fear The Walking Dead before this too )  .
