No, that's trans substantiation! The more common belief among non Catholics is psuedotransubstantiation. Where they dont believe it is literal flesh and blood.

If you read some of LaVey's work, you'd understand why. It has to do with the comfort people have with ritual and power of psychodrama to affect people's self-perceptions much in the same way as the ritual of mass on a Sunday morning or the frenzy of a fiery sermon that gets Christians speaking in tongues etc. And let's not forget snake-handling. There's a spectacle! But I'm not an atheist. I'm agnostic. "Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic." So, the answer is, "No." Again, if you actually read more than copying bits and pieces from the internet, you'd realize the "magic" LaVey is talking about here is little more than "the power of positive thinking." So... your reason why it can't be humanism is because they believe in humanism? At least they aren't eating flesh and drinking blood. Talk about pshychodrama! Oh, I'm very familiar with his work. That's why I ridicule it. Greater magic involving rituals does not sound like just some "positive thinking" to me...in fact, if they dont believe in magic, then this is the opposite of thinking as they are being manipulated. But then again, Satanists often tend to be easily manipulated people. And the reason I reject it as humanism is because it practices magic, which is obviously counter to true humanism which rejects supernatural elements in entirety. You have grown men...wearing masks...calling out demons for help...while rejecting Christ...in elaborate theater...do you see how this isnt humanistic? But what a coincidence that years later you are here defending their tracks after having dated the high priestess of satanism. Hmmmm....

I think that pic was sponsored and brought to you by 'ReverseCamelToe Inc'. They 'split' from YogaPant Inc but still play lip service to their ideology!

It doesn't show Like believing in a magical god and magical angels and magical saints? Most people who practice religions are. And yet, LaVey rejects the supernatural as well. But you already knew that since you're so familiar with his work. But when they do the same things in Christ's name it's all good? I've dated Jewish women, Christian women, Buddhist women, two Muslims, and a Hindu. Does that make me Jewish, Christian, Buddhist, Muslim, or Hindu? Yeah. When I was a young man, I dated a chick who liked to get naked and play with snakes. I think you're just jealous.

Did she play with your snake naked, or did she make it put a raincoat on first?
