- I quite like some of the set pieces...not the greatest story-teller...but many memorable stuff and moments . The Shining, 2OO1, Clockwork Orange all have great moments IMHO - having a punch-up to Beethoven is fab - personal favourite is Dr Strangelove.
Anything by Paul Thomas Anderson ~ Magnolia is fantastic.
One of my fave movies. Punch Drunk Love enjoyable also.
The Godfather
- Imminently watchable although a dearth of good guys. Great music.
The Godfather 2 - see above
Apocalypse Now ~ Just got the ReDux....quite intrigued
. I love the smell of napalm in the morning after flying helicoptors, listening to the Doors.
Anything by Terrence Malick
- not seen much - i did love Dirty Harry though, which I gather he wrote the screenplay.
Anything by David Lynch - Twin Peaks one of my fave tv shows ever - love his style and imagery - New Twin Peaks had many stunning moments but perhaps lost some of the original's humour.
Citizen Kane -
Fabulous and delectable to look at.
Any movie that's not in English - Watched loads i've enjoyed...bit hard for a slow reader or a dyslexic person I guess.
