Phone issue again (fecking things eh).
Last phone went kaput.
Next door neighbour gave me her last phone to help me out.
It's a nice enough phone to use...
But:
Battery life is worst I've known. If on interwebs you watch the battery percentage going down in real time.
It's a Samsung S6. Is it a good phone worth keeping?
Are they notoriously low battery life? Is it worth paying £40 to get a new battery fitted? Would that help?
Or should I go buy a phone with better battery life?
Ps... Why put a glass back on a phone? Fecking thing slides AOTS.

The Galaxy 6 is perfectly good phone, but it's old. If the battery life sucks it's almost certainly becuase it has been used for a number of years and the battery longevity is just destroyed from general use. You're probably better off getting a newer model. You can get one barely used off of Ebay or something for a substantial discount.

Three words: Nokia. One. Hundred.
Positives: Battery life phenomenal; small, light handset; tough Tonka-toy build; can't access social media; no camera; plays 'Snake'; alienates almost everyone under the age of 40; handles phone calls and text messages like a boss.
Negatives: Incapable of contributing to endless meaningless conversations about what type of phone you have.

No point getting a new battery fitted. Better off getting a higher spec more up to date budget smartphone after doing some research... plus Samsung have dumped the s6 and aren't putting out new security updates for it. It'll be malware city.

I'll probably get one in the next week meself. Was looking at the Huawei Y7 for 150 euroes on Argos site yesterday but now my 10 year old niece is telling me that Huawei are rubbish, I should get a Samsung J6 like her brother just did. I'll change my mind 10 times in the next week and end up getting something else instead

Its the 40 quid off and the good reviews that got me interested in that Huawei. The phone isn't top of my shopping list in the next week, a PS4 etc is. I may get a smart phone this week or the last week of the year or in a years time but let us know what you think is the best one around for that price anyway.

I'm still waiting for someone to give me a car. I call skip raiding 'shopping', and the local co-op stopped putting their dumpster out the back because I was always in there at night hoiking out of date gear out of it.
