What are you talking about? The MCEU is better than the DCEU. This is not my opinion, but a fact. No one can really believe otherwise unless they are trolling or DC blind fans. I am not talking about the comics. I love many of the DC characters, especially Batman, who may be the best Superhero. However, the movies are terrible. Man of Steel was the only one worth watching, but is it better than Iron Man, Guardians of the Galaxy, or The Winter Soldier? Not even close. No, it's just your opinion and not a fact. The fact is the DCEU is much better than the MCU.
1st, MCU isn't even a true shared "universe" because MCU doesn't even have the X-Men and Fantastic Four in it. No Doctor Doom so they have to use weak villains like the Chitauri, the Mandarin, and Zemo.
2nd, MCU movies are full of bad writing and huge plotholes.
3rd, not only are MCU villains weak but so are the heroes. MCU Iron Man is an idiot and MCU Hulk is weak. MCU Quicksilver is so slow that he isn't even as fast as a speeding bullet. MCU Quicksilver may be the first "speedster" in comics history to be killed by a bullet. Taht's how lame MCU is.
4th, the DCEU is more diverse. The MCU has had 14 movies and the lead character in all 14 movies has been a Caucasian male. It'll be 20 movies before the MCU even has a female character in the lead role. The DCEU has already had a female character in the lead role in their 3rd movie (Suicide Squad) and will have another female character in the lead role in their 4th movie (Wonder Woman) and have just announced a Batgirl movie.
5th, the DCEU is more epic and has elements of mythology, which the MCU is afraid to use. The closest the MCU has to mythology is Thor, but they've made Thor not a god but just an advanced alien from another dimension. The DCEU has a demigod in Wonder Woman, the daughter of Zeus. In the DCEU, the Olympian gods are true gods. The DCEU also has the lost continent of Atlantis and an ancient war that predates recorded history. And the DCEU also has time-travel, which the MCU doesn't have.
6th, MARTHA! - WHY YOU SAY THAT NAME?

"You have a METAL arm!"
"Are we still going to be friends after this?"
LOL!!! Worst dialogue in movie history, not just comic-book movies, but all movies.
"I'm from the Bronx." "I'm from Queens." WHO CARES? THIS IS SUPPOSED TO BE A FIGHT, NOT A HIGH SCHOOL DANCE.

I said before that MCU had their run while the DCEU was still being planned, but now that the DCEU is moving forward, the DCEU will begin to dominate the CBM genre for the next decade. And so far I'm 100% correct. The DCEU's first 3 movies have already grossed over $2 billion. It took MCU 5 movies to reach $2 billion so the DCEU is already ahead of MCU's pace. Wait a second, how could MCU have their run while DCEU was being planned when according to you, DCEU was created in 1984?

Wait a second, how could MCU have their run while DCEU was being planned when according to you, DCEU was created in 1984? No, you Patriots fans don't seem to read very well. I never said the DCEU was created in 1984. I said DC created the 1st shared universe for superheroes in the movies in 1984. Big difference.
Kong: Skull Island will be part of a shared universe with the 2014 Godzilla movie. But the versions of Godzilla and King Kong in these movies aren't the same the same as the versions of Godzilla and King Kong in the 1962 King Kong vs Godzilla movie. Likewise, the 1st shared universe for superheroes in the movies in 1984 isn't the same thing as the DCEU. The DCEU is the 2nd version of a shared universe for superheroes in the movies created by DC. The 1st version was the Superman/Supergirl movies in the 1980s.
In fact, you probably didn't know this so I'll explain it to you. The DCEU's version of Superman isn't the same as the version of Superman played by George Reeves in the 1950s TV series and isn't the same as the version of Superman played by Christopher Reeve in the 1980s movies and isn't the same as the version played by Dean Cain in the Lois & Clark TV series. And the DCEU's version of Batman isn't the same as the version of Batman played by Michael Keaton, Val Kilmer, and George Clooney in those movies and isn't the same as the version of Batman played by Christian Bale in The Dark Knight movies. And the DCEU's version of Wonder Woman isn't the same as the version of Wonder Woman played by Lynda Carter in the 1970s TV series.

There are very few movies that I come away saying that was a complete waste of 2 hours in my life. I can't say the same. I've seen plenty of god-awful movies that were a complete waste of time. I have to say, Batman has been my favorite superhero since I was knee high to a grasshopper. I will watch all Batman movies without criticism because in effect it takes me back to my childhood which was a very happy one. Just as I'm always objective and unbiased on the subject of sports, I'm also always objective and unbiased on the subject of movies. I've seen all the Batman movies and Batman & Robin wasn't very good. But BvS was a great movie, definitely better than Civil War and any other MCU movie. I have to admit that Captain America isn't my favorite character I didn't dislike Captain America until Civil War, when he basically acted like an arrogant tyrant in that movie. Dumbass critics who are biased in favor of Civil War wrote BS articles about how Civil War was able to show that both sides (pro-UN oversight of the Avengers vs anti-UN oversight of the Avengers) had a valid point. That's complete BS. Captain America's argument against UN oversight of the Avengers was "the safest hands are still our own". That's BULLSHIT! Tony Stark had built Ultron, which killed many people. Hulk and Iron Man had destroyed a city in South Africa and killed many people. And Scarlett Witch had caused a building to explode, killing many people. So NO, the safest hands aren't their own. It's obvious from the amount of collateral damage and civilian deaths caused by the Avengers that the Avengers aren't capable of policing themselves and therefore oversight is clearly needed. But the reason Captain America doesn't want UN oversight of the Avengers is because Captain America doesn't want the Avengers to be held responsible for the collateral damage and civilian deaths that they caused and doesn't want the Avengers to have to answer to the people. So Captain America gives this bullshit about how they know what's best for the people and how they alone should decide what's best for the people instead of the elected representatives of the people. Well, Hitler and Stalin also believed that they knew what's best for the people and believed that they should decide what's best for the people. Captain America wanted to be a tyrant, just like Hitler and Stalin. That's 1 of the reasons why I prefer the DCEU to the MCU. There have been 7 Superman movies. Superman has done some amazing things, but I think the most heroic thing that Superman has done in any of the 7 Superman movies was in Man of Steel when Superman surrendered himself to the custody of the U.S. government and allowed himself to be handcuffed. And in BvS, when Superman was summoned to appear before a Congressional hearing, Superman showed up even though the government had no way of forcing him to. Superman is the most powerful person on the planet, but he showed that he didn't want to be a tyrant or dictator and showed that he respected the authority of the people. By contrast, the Avengers act like tyrants and dictators and refuse to respect the authority of the people. For example, 1. Iron Man was requested by a congressional hearing to turn over the Iron Man suit to the US government. It was a perfectly reasonable and legal request, given the fact that Tony Stark's company had previously sold weapons of mass destruction to terrorists (who used those weapons to kill a convoy of US soldiers who ironically were protecting Tony Stark) and given the fact that the Iron Man suit was basically a weapon of mass destruction that had more destructive capability than the bombs dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki combined, so naturally the US government doesn't want such a powerful weapon to fall into the hands of terrorists, like many of the other weapons of mass destruction built by Tony Stark's company had. But Stark refused to turn over the Iron Man suit and walked out on a congressional hearing, which is basically contempt of Congress. 2. Black Widow testifies in front of a congressional hearing and basically tells them "You can't arrest me because I'm an Avenger and we're more powerful than you so we can do whatever the hell we want to do and you can't arrest us or stop us." 3. Hulk and Iron Man destroy a city in Africa and kill many people. But instead of surrendering themselves to the authorities to answer for the deaths and damage that they caused, they flee from the city like fugitives and hide out at Hawkeye's house like common criminals. I enjoy Dr. Strange, Iron Man, Ant Man, Thor, and love Guardians of the Galaxy. I thought those were all crappy movies. Spiderman went downhill for me after the 1st movie. I like the Tobey Maguire Spiderman movies. Not so much the Andrew Garfield Spiderman movies, but they weren't as crappy as the Avengers and the rest of the MCU movies. I also like X-Men: Apocalypse and the first Fantastic Four movie (with Ioan Gruffeld and Jessica Alba), but not the last Fantastic Four movie (with Miles Teller and Kata Mara). That last Fantastic Four movie was 1 of the worst CBMs ever made and is an example of a movie that was a complete waste of 2 hours. This one looks good though The villain (the Vulture) looks underwhelming, like most of MCUs villains. Spiderman (along with Batman, Superman, and the Flash) has a long inventory of great villains so they had plenty of great villains to choose from. But in typical MCU fashion, MCU chooses an underwhelming villain like Vulture. It would be like DC making a Batman movie where the main villains were Tweedledee and Tweedledum. There are so many better villains to choose from. No need to apologize for stating your opinion.

Jesus AH Fan is pathetic in every way. He seriously just stated he is 100% unbiased on the subject of sports and movies. Hilarious. I have an idea. We can wait for one person to reply that they agree with this. No one will. In fact, everyone will find it hilarious because it is so far from the truth you are obviously trolling. Also, BvS was not better than ANY MCU movie. Not one. Seriously.

If Tom Brady were to cure cancer, he'd spend a lifetime saying how Brady actually ruined the planet because the cure causes over-population. DC could make a movie of all of their executives facing a camera, and just giving the finger to the audience for two hours, and he'd hail it as a masterpiece. After all these years, how do people STILL argue with him? It's like crying about being put on the Sandusky lists. For fucks' sake, TimLincecum55 remained on the list for a good 5 years after he stopped posting. People are dense.

LMAO even when discussing something THAT HAS nothing to do with NE, he brings up NE. My god....youre so butthurt it's laughable. Do you see how everyone is seeing youre a joke, youre stuck in a 2 mile hole, and you wanna go for 3!
Your sn is DC-Fan. You cant even discuss a topic like this without bringing up NE (Which is a joke). Youre a joke man, and more and more as seeing is DC/Dallas Cowboys fanboy.
You cant argue with fanboys. You also talk about cant read well...you couldnt even grasp when I was discussing a 16 win season streak V a 20, and it messed you all up. I wouldnt dare call anyone out on "reading."
BTW DC....is your moms name Martha?
______________
WHAT!!?!?!!
Ok, lets go to IMDB: BVS - 6.7
Now: Guardians of Galaxy - 8.1 Civil War - 7.9 Ant Man - 7.3 Spider-Man (02) - 7.3 Spider Man 2 - 7.3 Amazing Spider Man - 7.0 Thor - 7.0 Thor - Dark World - 7.0 Captain America First Avenger - 6.9 CA:WSoldier - 7.8 Iron Man - 7.9 IM2 - 7.0 IM3 - 7.2 X-Men - 7.4 X-Men 2 - 7.5 Xmen: DOFP - 8.0
Amazing Spider Man 2 - 6.7 (Tied with BVS) XMen - Last Stand - 6.7 (Also Tied) ___
Spider-Man 3 - 6.2 Fant4stic 4 - 4.3 Fantastic 4 (05) - 5.7 Fantastic 4:ROTSSurfer - 5.6
So sorry, BVS loses. NOW if you wanna say Dark Knight or Dark Knight Rises...ok, Dark Knight was a WONDERFUL film. That's DC's issue....Marvel puts out B+ to A- and DC erither puts out an A+ or C.
Also some DC films: Suicide Squad - 6.3 Batman (ADAM WEST SON, 66...movie not the series) - 7.5 Batman (89) - 7.6 Batman Returns - 7.0 Batman Forever - 5.4 Batman & Robin - 3.7 (Beating the worst Marvel movie, Fant4stic 4...and yea that was bad) Batman Begins - 8.3 Dark Knight - 9.0 DKR - 8.5 Man Of Steel - 7.1 Superman Returns - 6.1
Ill stop here I know I left out a LOT. Anyone wanna continue, be my guest.
That's the problem also with DC...batman/superman/batman/superman.
Marvel has so much more to spread out. An Aquaman movie is coming out in 2018 and Wonder Woman this year, but Marvel just has more to work with.
In the end, idgaf, I enjoy both universes....what I think would be awesome is a Marvel Vs DC type film. DC would be out numbered, so just the best of Marvel. Spider Man, Iron Man (IDK if he is the best but Robert is gold as him), Hulk, Captain America, Wolverine, etc.
I like both franchises, idk why people have to like one or the other.
