Operation Dead End (1986)
Nightmare episode of the original run of the Outer Limits (1963) - I realize it's not a movie but it has a very good "twist" ending

Glad to see some love for "Cube" and "Would You Rather?" among others. "Cube" was lightning in a jar. Very clever film, done on a modest budget. Lots of good work being done by the cast and crew. Wish I could say the same for the sequels. "Would You Rather?" is a treat for horror fans in that you get Jeffrey Combs (Dr. West from "Re-Animator") chewing the scenery for nearly the entire running time. This was a surprise treat in a sea of mediocre direct-to-streaming horror movies of the last 5 years. I'll also add "The Purge" films. The horror is 'meh' for me, but I really enjoyed the segments of 'the experiment' being discussed on news shows and at kitchen tables. I'd have taken a double on those segments in exchange for seeing so many people get unceremoniously shot. I have not seen or heard about "Cube". Is it as entertaining as Saw?

For nonfiction, see the excellent "Blue Eyes, Brown Eyes" with Jane Elliott.

Does A Clockwork Orange fall under this category? Yes most definitely... Lots of experiments.

I saw "The Wave" (Die Welle) and thought it was pretty bad to the point I was embarrassed. In the very beginning, I thought it could have been very good. But it's a cliche, manufactured. Could have been a new American movie. So typical with the teens laughing it up, followed by 10 minutes of awful noise made by computers, then a scene with Rainer, then another 10 minutes of punk and spray-paint. No originality.

How about "If" with Malcolm McDowall...
