My favorites from your 10: Nicholson - The Shining De Niro - Taxi Driver Russell - Death Proof Pacino - The Godfather Part II Gibson - The Beaver Cage - Matchstick Men Hackman - Unforgiven Mitchum - The Night of the Hunter Oldman - Leon Bogart - The Treasure of the Sierra Madre The Shining and One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest are pretty much a tie for me. Matchstick Men is my 3rd favorite performance from Nicolas Cage after Leaving Las Vegas and Adaptation. The Beaver is my 2nd favorite performance from Mel Gibson. Death proof is one of my 10 favorite performances from Kurt Russell. Unforgiven is my 4th favorite performance from Gene Hackman. Gary Oldman's performance in Leon is good, but I don't love him in it like most people do. The Godfather and The Godfather: Part II are a close second for me. The Treasure of the Searra Madre is probably my second favorite performance from Humphrey Bogart. The Night of the Hunter is probably my 5th favorite performance from Robert Mitchum. |
