For me it would be both especially The Amazing Spider-Man 3. I wasn't a big fan of TASM 2, but I'm really curious what the third movie would have been about.

Spider-Man 4 sounds like it would had been crazy. I disliked TASM 2 far more than SM3.

Even though SPIDER-MAN 3 wasn't mean to be the end, I feel like most things were wrapped up. THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2 on the other hand spent too much time setting things up, so there would've been more things to explore in another installment.

Both. I like the Raimi series the best, but the Webb series is in more need of closure.

We still don’t completely know about Mr. Parker’s deal, and I was actually interested in the Sinsiter 6 thing at the time. I just think it’s more satisfying to have a fourth film in the Raimi series. Spider-Man 3 gets undeservedly bashed.

Neither, I say do a noncanonical spinoff, takes place when Parker is considerably older (say late 40s/early 50s), is retired and is forced to come out of retirement (Green Goblin reemerges or something). It could be something along the lines of "Logan". But make Green Golbin look like an actaul goblin, not a Power Rangers villain, maybe something like the mosnter from Wishmaster:

Spider-Man 4 obviously.
But it would be good to see TASM 3 as well.

SM4. Raimi wanted to make that. Webb was clearly uninterested in making more of them.

Spider-Man 4 for me. I did not care for the Mark Webb films.

I don't think it is as bad as some people do, but it is one of the most disappointing movies ever made as far as I'm concerned. Every aspect of the movie is a GIGANTIC step down from the first 2 and the movie pretty much makes Venom an afterthought. Venom is one of Spider-Man's most iconic and frightening villains and they treat his character like a joke in this movie. I just have a lot of big problems with the movie, most of all the emo Peter Parker stuff. Ironically the movie was so disappointing by that point that these scenes take it to an almost "so bad, it's good" level. Spider-Man - 8/10 Spider-Man 2 - 8/10 Spider-Man 3 - 5.5/10

The scene where Peter forgives Sandman is one of the best I have seen in a suphero film.

That is one of the few good scenes in the movie imo. The themes are definitely there, but most of the stuff surrounding them is poorly done and overblown imo. For example, I hate when Sandman becomes I giant blob of wet sand at the end. The stuff in the movie is so overly silly that it is hard to take any of the themes seriously. I also think the directing itself lacks the creativity of the first 2 movies and is often quite bland. All of the action scenes are boring and that is a serious problem for a superhero movie to have. I will give the creation of Sandman scene a huge shout out though. That is a wonderfully handled scene.
