OT: Sorry BATouttaheck I had forgotten my original question when I found the other older Tom and Jerry, I know you invited me! Tom and Jerry animated movies, Hannah-Barbera movies at MGM, made before the 1960's, Watched a movie on Youtube were Tom actually won, surpriced Yes, can't remember that shorts name, and wonder if there was more when Tom won. the one I was thinking about is that Tom does a sort of reel dance over Jerry, and I remember coments saying "Wow! Tom Won!" and the likes.

Nalkarj we may just have to start to formally call you "someone" … especially in the INTKs T&J's are always fun... no matter who wins !

Tom wins in a short (from the 50s) where Jerry is teaching his nephew mouse (in diapers) how to annoy/evade cats. Every lesson he teaches ends with Jerry being beat up by Tom, while his nephew succeeds merely by being nice to Tom (who is very mellow in the whole thing).
At the end his nephew becomes the teacher and Jerry is forced to sit in a classroom to learn how to be friends with cats (Tom is sitting next to him and kisses him on the head).

Thanks Nalkarj for the examples and the link, I will have a closer look at it a later date when I have more time.

Yes, one of the reasons I love Tom and Jerry is the fact that every once in a while Tom would win. I can't name specific shorts off the top of my head but there were a few.
Another thing I will mention is that many of the "contests" were handicap matches where Tom is actually fighting Jerry and someone else like a bulldog, a canary, a duckling, a relative of Jerry's, or a diaper clad mouse that says "Touche pussycat". I don't think those belong in the records book as wins for Jerry since he had help and Tom was alone.
