I believe it is something to do with the great American DC vs MCU thing.
DC fan was previously a poster called AH_fan. I suspect "Armie Hammer" is the person on whom DC fan was named before. So the OP is probably trying to bring that fact to light.

It's not a name it's a command. If you know somebody named Lee, then go stab him.

I don't know what an Armie Hammer or a Stan Lee is so why the hell should I care? May be this Hammer bloke is MC's brother? Stan Lee played Dracula, but most people seem to prefer Lugosi's portrayal.

Lee was Dracula in the Hammer films, so it makes sense to get a comment from Mr. Hammer.

I agree that I don’t get the whole posting a selfie thing. It should just be a portrait of the guy and that’s it.

Meh, it's sad he felt it was an important enough thing to tweet about, and also sad anyone cared enough about his tweet to be offended. And really crazy someone originally put this on the sports board???!!??
If we start seeing table tennis scores here, we will know why!

I've never taken a selfie in my life but I don't see what's wrong with it. I had a sous chef once who posted some photos with him and Stan Lee from a autograph signing. I thought it was touching.

Like the guy said, it’s not like he was a part of you or your personal life. It would make more sense if it were with a relative of yours that passed.

It's our connection to a person that makes their death so tragic for us. And if the highest amount of connection you have to someone is a selfie that lasted all of 5 seconds but ended up being one of the happiest days of your life because you got to meet this one guy, then that's probably your most prized memory of that person and I see nothing wrong with you using that photo as a way to remember said person.

Well said. I would’ve loved to have met him, but I never got the chance in my life. Besides, I’m not much of a selfie guy at all.
