Stating his success is not sustainable. I am now adopting the Ravens as my 4th favorite team behind: 1. Eagles 2. Lions 3. Browns Go LJ!

If he becomes starting Ravens QB I'll be a fan...just like I became a Texans fan when DeShaun Watson became starting QB.

If he becomes starting Ravens QB I'll be a fan...just like I became a Texans fan when DeShaun Watson became starting QB. This guy won the Heisman and then just continued to get crapped on by the media the next year at Louisville by everyone under the sun stating he was too small and was a running QB. His Louisville teams used to kick the crap out of Florida State and give Clemson a game. He'd be a great story just like Watson - always shook my head why he went #10 or so in the draft - just completely disrespectful after what he showed at Clemson

He's nowhere near as accurate as Watson. He'll win some games early on with his legs, but he's RG3, not Watson. What Marvin Lewis said is exactly right.

White ones too.

He's nowhere near as accurate as Watson. He'll win some games early on with his legs, but he's RG3, not Watson. What Marvin Lewis said is exactly right. How many games has he started thus far? All you have to look at is college. Lamar Jackson completed 57% of his passes in college. His best year (his junior year), he completed 59.1%. RGIII completed 67.1% of his passes in college. His completion rate was better than Jackson's every year he played: 59.9%, 65.2%, 67.0%, and 72.4%. DeShaun Watson completed 67.4% of his passes in college. All three years of college, he completed passes at that level (67.9%, 67.8%, and 67.0%). The only successful starting quarterback today who is anywhere near Jackson's completion percentage in college is Matt Stafford, who finished his career at 57.1%. His last year, however, he was above 60% (61.4%), and he was much more the prototypical quarterback who wasn't dinking and dunking like Jackson did. There's no way that Jackson is going to come to the NFL and improve his accuracy to Griffin and Watson levels. Stafford is having his best completion percentage year ever at 66.3% - - but he's doing it by having a yards per attempt of 7.08 - - 1/100ths better than Blake Bortles and 7/100ths better than Brock Osweiler (the quarterbacks playing tonight are at 9.44 and 9.13).

Trubisky is a running quarterback to an extent as well. Trubisky has more rushing yards this year than any quarterback. The original post would be grasping at straws - - as I laid it out for you with statistics.
