Still feels remarkably fresh. Also, trying to think if much, or anything, dates the film.
Thoughts?

Good film, but I still prefer Reservoir Dogs considerably more

The best year for movies in my lifetime, if those weren't counted.

Definitely stands the test of time. People still talk about it and it's still referenced and quoted.
Plus, it should have been the winner of the Best Picture Oscar.

The movie me and my wife have the largest disagreement over. She hates Pulp Fiction. HATES. She says "I sincerely doubt hired assassins and drug dealers talk like that. In every movie, the audience should have someone to root for. I wish everyone if this film would die. They all suck"
To each his own

In every movie, the audience should have someone to root for. A movie doesn't need likable characters to succeed, i.e. Raging Bull.

Certainly left an impression on the film world & pop culture but I can't help but find it to be an overrated film (rated #8 best film on IMDB's 250?! Really?!) . In fact, I think R Dogs was a much better / interesting story and film . Yes Pulp had all the catchy dialogue but I wasn't all wowed by it and found R Dogs to be more engaging all around .

On a Saturday night in its 3rd week the cinema was so full there were people squatting on the carpet just in front of the screen. Does this still happen?

But it's tough to classify a likeable character. Did I like Vincent Vega, yeah. Would I hang with him in real life, hell no.
And I don't know if I'd say Vickie LaMotta wasn't a likeable character. Felt bad for her
