Aside from the Harry Potter movies, and maybe Swiss Army Man (which I haven't seen yet), has Daniel Radcliffe been in any really good movie?
He's working steadily but doesn't seem to be in very many worthwhile films.
Compare the career of Daniel Radcliffe with that of, say, Leonardo Di Caprio.
I am looking forward to seeing Imperium, though, at some point.

Of the five movies I've seen, crime drama imperium (2016) is a 5/10 pass. He plays a policeman who goes undercover as a white supremist. Still, another actor would of been preferable.
The other four seen, the woman in black, kill your darlings, horns, victor frankenstein are crappy. Frankly, I wish he would go away, no two ways about it.

Harry Potter bored me to death. I gave up on it after 2 movies.

I stopped watching 'Swiss Army Man' when he started talking. Out of his arse? Shame. It's a good film. He's not a great actor but the film doesn't suffer from him being in it. Dano is the star anyway.

Yeah, I would say that Hayden Christensen was a better actor. Life as a House and Jumper were pretty good non Star Wars prequel films. I can't think of any good Radcliffe non-Harry Potter films.

Not necessarily. At least not yet. I don't think he's known more for his flops than he is for Harry Potter, so he's still okay. Though it would be nice for him to have non-Potter hits.
However if you see that a movie stars Nicholas Cage or John Cusak then that movies is done for. Or If you're watching a TV show and it stars Taye Diggs or Tim Daly (and they've actually starred in one together!) then that show is about to be cancelled.
Its too bad, but it is what it is.

I saw The Woman in Black mostly because he was starring. I'd seen the story live on stage during a school trip decades ago, I was already familiar with it.
I think if ppl are looking to Daniel for Ryan Gosling lite type roles, they shouldn't. He'll probably start being offered & doing more mature fare in the coming years if he wants it.
As it is, he was never more cinematically achieved than as a child actor. That's not a simple thing to chase.

I'm not sure that's fair. He seems a perfectly competent actor to me. I think a major challenge for him as an actor is that he's two inches shorter than Tom Cruise--who is a famously lower-altitude man. He's also fighting stereotyping of being the lead star in one of the most successful film franchises ever.
