Miko loves whipped cream on EVERYTHING, including plain and served on a finger. Both my cats and dogs LOVE whipped cream. If they hear the sound of of the canister they'll come from where ever they are. |

As a baker, mint falls into the same category as peanut butter. Some people absolutely love it, the others absolutely hate it. We mainly have "mint, or crème de menthe" items in our cases during fall & winter. And they sell like hotcakes.

Google search for (plain) mint cream pie recipes doesn't really turn up anything. All the recipes use mint as just an accessory--to chocolate, berries, citrus, etc. No mint cream pies where the mint is the star.
I think I'll have to create my own!

Doesn't that sound delicious?  If it was anything like those Andes mint creme chocolate thin candies...I have loved those for 40 years now. I would have voted Yea on the butterscotch pie too. |
