Since I want for little, I have everything I want and then some. That's something not even a lot of rich people can claim. "Money is human happiness in the abstract; he, then, who is no longer capable of enjoying human happiness in the concrete devotes himself utterly to money..~Arthur Schopenhauer
I discovered👆by way of a Skynyrd song on YT.
thekindercarebear , nonetheless I have splurged these past few weeks.
-Power Smokeless Grill (As Seen on TV❗)
-Zeopedic gel memory foam pillow
Movies:
-The Peanuts Movie: Collector's Edition
-Filmation's Ghostbusters:Prime Evil (with glow in the dark slipcover)
-Maze Runner:The Death Cure (steelbook)
-Train to Busan (steelbook)
-The Pom Pom Girls
- The Last House on the Left (3 disc Limited Edition)
-The Bloodthirsty Trilogy
-Torso (1970's giallo)
All bought in part with Kohl's Cash, Best Buy Rewards and Mailer Coupon, BigLots Rewards, and Arrow Video sale at Barnes&Noble
I'm happy with the grill. Much better and more durable than the George Formans.

This Week?I really wanted this as a kid back in the Mid-1980s, but "Santa" never left one for me under the Christmas Tree... When I found out that it had been recently reissued, and it was (Supposed To Be) available for sale at Walmart, I had to buy it... Sadly, My local Walmart was sold out, and so I had to buy it ONLINE at a higher price... But, I didn't just Buy ONE... I bought TWO... ONE to OPEN... ONE to KEEP IN THE BOX... Slurged? Hell Yeah, and it was very pricey, but... I just had to... Waiting Thirty years for one was long enough... ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png) I bought TWO Starscreams LAST Week... Again, another one, that "Santa" didn't leave for me under the Christmas Tree... and I couldn't even find one at Sears, at the time, either... Another one that I waited Thirty years for... LOL! ![:D](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/grin.png)

New climbing shoes, and a couple of Discworld hardcover books to add to the collection. Had a nice takeaway curry last night too. Rock or expedition? What brand? Rock climbing. I bought another pair of Scarpa shoes, I really like the way they heel hook.

No extreme discounts, but some stuff I was going to buy anyway that are somewhat niche products and almost never discounted... New British customs slip-ons (exhaust) for my Triumph Bonneville BC Fork brace retro BC chain guard retro 20% off... plus saved another 75 bucks on tax since I had it sent to my sisters in Las Vegas. So saved about 260 bucks in all ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png) . I will NEVER camp out or try to go to a store for deals on Black Friday... just what I can find on line.

Last week, I splurged on an iPhone XS Max (the biggest screen on an iPhone so far) including 256gb storage.
I bought an Otterbox to protect it and one of those chargers that only requires the iPhone to lay down on top of it to get a charge.
I also bought a new purse to house it properly when I go out. :-)

Israel has Black Friday sales going on now!
I doubt that most Israelis know the origin of this, but my Hebrew newspaper this morning has end-to-end Black Friday specials (and they spell “Black Friday” in English). :-)

Decided it was time to update the automatic garage door, ordered and paid for so it’s installed by Christmas. Will be a nice surprise for my partner.

Kent has some excellent sandstone routes for leaf climbing and bouldering. I do a fair bit of indoor bouldering too.

thekindercarebearWe went to the movies and out to dinner at a Mall in Tel Aviv for Thanksgiving and we saw a store advertising for “Black November” from November 19-23rd. :-) Last year, we saw a few “Black Weekends.” It’s ok to stretch it out a bit in Israel! :-)

Yeah, well, I couldn't heel hook to save my life.
For expedition and ice, I have a pair of old-school Scarpa Invernos. Really heavy, but warm and stable.
