I wonder if he likes it. I'm not sure he likes Sansa very much either. LOLOLOL thats so funny..lol youre right i dont think he likes sansa that much dont think tv show writers liked her character that much , i mean they wrote in a rape storyline for her which was un-necessary just for ratings and i think GRMM has written similar story for her in winds of winter he already said winds of winter will have a very controversial sansa chapter -i believe to be that. Sansa's controversial Wow chapter was already released. It's the one where she is at the Gates of the Moon and flirting with Harry the Douche. I forgot what was supposed to be controversial about it, but Ran insisted that was it.

Apparently, it was his opinion, not GRRM's, that that chapter would be controversial.

Here's the Alayne chapter in question. It has disappeared from GRRM's web site, which probably indicates it will be reworked.

The books are incredibly more detailed and some of these minor characters can grow into important ones any time. Now you can understand why it takes ages to write them. And yes, Sansa being made to feel as a bastard by "playing" one is an obvious bridge to an evolution of the way she sees Jon. An adult writer would have made her befriend a bastard, but GRRM must go for the ham-fisted variant.

I don't know what these podcasts are worth. I might try and listen to them later (long drive ahead):
