Well I wasn't upset when Danny Lloyd stopped acting after The Shining. I don't think anyone was upset when Mark Pillow gradually stopped acting after Superman IV.

She didn't have the charisma of Drew Barrymore.
She did alright in Aliens but I don't think she showed the possibility that she could do performances or have any kind of range that you would expect with acting.
