You call me a grinch for my opinions on the holidays and say you are so happy while all you do each week on the CFB threads is bitch and moan about who gets in, it seems like you hate every good team. Yeah - we went through this last week Bub. The 4 team 'playoff' is asinine. You want CFB to be like CBB where the regular season barely matters and a team that finsihes in the bottom half of their own conference can win the title, like Uconn did in 2011. The best thing about CFB is that every single game matters, you cannot take a week off or your teams playoff hopes might be done. If you expanded it to an 8 team or especially an even larger playoff, you would starting getting 3 loss teams, teams that lost 25% of their games, in the playoffs, what a joke that would be.

Why doesn't the 'little guy' - the undefeated UCF's of the world not deserve a shot? Who's to say next week if they played again - Michigan wouldn't kick the living shit out of Ohio State if played in Michigan? Who's to say Washington State couldn't upend Notre Dame? It's all about an opportunity - 'Every Given Sunday'

The regular season should matter, and a team like Michigan doesnβt deserve a shot at the title after the egg they laid today.

You were saying that any team should get an oppurtunity. If you went to a 16 team playoff, you would get a slew of 3 loss teams, teams that lost 25% of their games, in the playoff. That would make the regular season unimportant, teams could just rest their players for a game or 2 and phone it in. The best thing about CFB is that every regular season game is huge, and that shouldnβt change.

In my Sweet 16 - the first round is played at the higher seeded teams turf. Then going forward we roll into the Rose, Orange, Fiesta, Cotton Bowls played at a neutral field -........

Vanderbilt defeats Tennessee, knocking the Vols out of a bowl game, itβs amazing how far Tennessee has fallen, from being a top tier program to now routinely missing bowl games.
Clemson up 14-7 on South Carolina, Clemson has an excellent team all around, they definitely have the best chance at beating Bama IMO.

South Carolina is keeping it close against Clemson, they are only down by 7 at the half.
USC is up 10-0 on Norte Dame, the Irish look completely lifeless so far.

HOLY SHIT at the finish to LSU/A&M. LSU gets an interception, they think they won, they give Orgeron a gatorade bath, the play gets overturned as the QBβs knee was down, A&M goes 60 yards in 30 seconds and gets a TD on the final play, and we are going to OT!!!! Insane.

Notre Dame defeats USC and goes 12-0, locking up a playoff birth!! It will be interesting to see what the Irish can do, they havenβt gotten the attention of Bama or Clemson but they are a solid all around team.

The announcers said there has been 4 overtimes previously that made it to the 7th period. 2 in the SEC. Both involved Arkansas.

Aggies win it 74-72 in 7 OTβs!!!!!! Holy crap, what a game!!!!! A&M has an impressive offense and they just outlasted LSU, best game of 2018 and one of the best games of all time!!!!
Second time ever a coach got a gatorade bath and lost, interestingly enough, the first time was Kentucky coach Guy Morris against LSU in 2002!!
