A friend of mine gave me something he called Turkey Fricasee, or however you spell it. It was wonderful. The most common leftovers favorite is the famous sandwich that we have all had. Turkey, stuffing, gravy, cranberry sauce, and sometimes mashed potatoes, usually on plain white bread. A huge mess that is somehow delicious. It is fun to make soup with the carcass but more fun to make than it is to eat. You have to do something with the leftovers. What do you do?

I'm Canadian, but I freeze the leftovers and after a year I throw it out.

I don't have any this year, save for the turkey that the TG hostess gave me for a sandwich. But, most often, I follow what Socks said ... plated leftovers, then sandwiches, then soup, for the turkey. Although I always swear that I'll try some pasta dishes - haven't, yet. Mashed potatoes and gravy, for as long as they last. And, I nibble the dressing, 'til I'm sick of it.

This year was the first time I had this and was it ever good!

I usually store them in the fridge, then heat them up in the microwave.
