When did the generic versions (namely Sam's Choice) become sooooo much better than regular name-brand Pop-Tarts? Better crust More icing More filling It's like Bizarro World in the toaster pastry aisle.

Funny, I always buy the "Toast Em" brand ones. They are cheaper than Pop Tarts although they skimp a little on the icing. haha. Only place I really see them are at mom and pop type grocery stores. I don't think I've seen them at national chains.

All I see at the grocery store is Pop Tarts usually, I haven’t seen Toast Em’s in a while, they are good as well, but I like the regular Pop Tarts.
What’s everyone’s favorite flavor of Pop Tart? Mine is cherry.

Mine is cherry. I like Cherry. I like Chocolate. I like putting one on top of the other and eating them together. When not actually toasting them.. Does anybody else eat Pop-Tarts by just breaking open the package and biting into both Pop-Tarts at the same time? Or.. Biting off all of the crust first... and sliding the non-frosted side away from the frosted side... and then putting two frosted sides together to create a two-sided frosted Pop-Tart?

I have to have my Pop Tarts toasted, they have to be warm for me. I usually eat the crust first and then the inside, sometimes I will put the 2 sides together and eat them at once.
