I've got this weird craving for Miller Lite, but it's unavailable here in the UK. Does Stella taste similar? What other brands taste like Miller Lite?

bigwhiskeyMoosehead produces an American Light Lager. It is a Canadian brewery so might be available in the U.K. Anyway, Beer Advocate lists about 200 light lagers. Scan them for one you may have seen in pubs or stores. Beer Advocate

While I agree it is not the most tasty.....really it's not. I will say I do miss smelling it on my way downtown. Nothing like the great smell of yeast-coming from a baker & one who grew up in Milwaukee.

A little too watery for my taste, but I drink it occasionally if i'm at a place that only serves that. It's drinkable

Coors light and bud light and idk, just about any light beer will be similar in taste. However, it's not very good beer. It's amazing how the big players in the brewing industry have turned beer into a diet beverage. Beer is all about TASTE and light beer is a very poor example of what beer is all about.
You wouldn't walk into a steak house and tell them you want the driest most flavorless steak they offer, would you? Why do this with beer?
Seriously, try a Belgian dark strong ale, English porter, or a New England style Pale Ale. you'll thank me later..

by the way, judging by your screename, you must like whiskey. Try a beer that's been aged in whiskey barrels. They're fantastic!
