I just did some research and this guy is apparently the hardest to link to Kevin Bacon......but it is still supposed to be possible.
William Rufus Shafter Bit of a stretch though...30 seconds footage of him riding his horse...and anyway in relation to this thread...it wasn't a Hollywood movie  True.

William Rufus ShafterDoes it have to be actors who appeared in movies with him? Because William Rufust Shafter was once played in Rough Riders (1997) by Rodger Boyce, who was in No Country with Old Men with Tommy Lee Jones, who was in JFK with Kevin Bacon. It does have to be actors who appeared in movies with him, sadly. Although bonus points for ingenuity.
Someone says the Bacon number for William Rufus Shafter is 10. I am not sure if that is legit or a wind-up.

Yes, but he was in movies with other very famous people. There are many links that can be made through James Dean. Even John Cazale can probably be linked to most other actors in less than 10 steps. John Cazale wasn't an obscure actor though. He appeared in some big movies and died young. |

Well the first 4 names on the list are basically news footage of their day...not even sure why anyone thought they should be in the running. Maybe they used the footage in a sketch or something. And its very doubtful Altman was in the same episode of the show, plus Bo Selecta was a TV show and the Live Earth was a TV concert that Sarpong did a bit of presenting on...whoever did it was really clutching at straws  |
