For the second time I tried to sit through Birdman or (The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance). Everyone seemed to love this film but I just cant take it. Im a big fan of Michael Keaton and I admit he does well in the film but the whole film is just complete bore. Worse than that the movie is just a bunch of characters I could not care less about fighting and being very annoying for two hours. I just found this to be an dull, boring and annoying film. Keaton is the one redeeming thing I can find here.

Well that description alone almost guarantees it will get Oscar consideration.
But seriously, I mostly agree with you. Keaton was good but the movie was the typical boring Oscar bait that we have seen a hundred times before.

Never seen it.
But I generally hate modern oscar noms. If I didn't like The Revenant, There Will Be Blood or The Shape of Water, I highly doubt I would like Birdman.
