IDK.
I'm too busy to notice, because...
ADIDAS.
..and here was I thinking you had gone all NIKE (with a swoosh) just 'doing it'...(licking your unmentionables) with relish and gusto. {Heinz57} Sorry, I'm not that flexible.
Although I once knew a guy who was.

[conversation stopper]icon ...do you like pelargoniums? Especially if he was present and attempted to demonstrate his special skill.
They're okay, but I prefer roses.
I also have a soft spot for triffids...

I like the red ones! So do I and did my father, which is probably where I got my taste for them from.

I bet you didn't see that coming.

It was enough to make me Keel right over (and you'll never know How 'ard, mate).

It was enough to make me Keel right over (and you'll never know How 'ard, mate). It's at times like these I really think this website could do with a face-palm emoticon.
I have to admit I think the 1981 BBC TV miniseries is the best version available.
It certainly manages to do the most justice to the source material.

And I have to admit I wasn't aware of the '81 miniseries. I'll look into that. Thanks. And until they come up with that emoticon, there's this:

Make it so.

It was enough to make me Keel right over (and you'll never know How 'ard, mate). I only remember him from Kismet. I've never seen that version; only the (non-musical) Ronald Coleman-Marlene Dietrich one. But if you add just a few more letters, you get the one I most enjoyed him in: Kiss Me Ka te. Among his other non-musical films is a cute one called Calloway Went Thataway, in which he plays dual roles: a belligerent, hard-drinking cowboy movie has-been, and the naive lookalike that marketer Fred MacMurray hires to impersonate him when his films become popular on TV and the real one can't be found.

I only remember him from Kismet. I first saw him on DALLAS during the 1980s. That was the last place I saw him. I was working for the show's production company at the time. Very pleasant guy. And huge! Most performers look smaller in person, and it's always startling when they're bigger.

He always gave me the impression of being a big bloke.
