Episode 2 starts after a wedding with the characters talking about it. A wedding that was first mentioned last season (months ago). Why not show it? Why not do a "Previously" segment reminding us of that? It just felt confusing to be thrown into the middle of all this. The worst part is that this has nothing to do with the rest of the episode. We get a 3-month time jump in the 2nd scene. Now that I think about it, why wasn't this the season premiere? I have a feeling that the next episode will continue 1 or more storylines that started in the previous episode.
KAREN was messing with the other 3 about how marriage is forever. I kept waiting for the punchline of someone pointing out how many times she's been divorced.

What the Hell is the deal with episode 5?! You can't have a character talk about being raped as a teenager after the show has been on for 10 20 years! It came out of nowhere! It doesn't add anything to past episodes and I'm sure it won't add anything to future episodes! Sure, in the previous, WILL said that he had thought about suicide when he came out of the closet, but that was adding a layer to an event we already new. The worst part of all is that, right after she says it (and with a lot of details), there's a joke. How tasteless. I know, I know, sitcoms must have one at the end of every scene, especially before the commercial break... except they mustn't. I can think of examples over the years.
As if that wasn't bad enough, we get a subplot that feels pointless by the end. If choosing 2 best men was an option, why didn't JACK do it at the beginning? And why did KAREN confuse MISS COCO PERU with GRACE only at the end? She had already seen him many times throughout the night.

I just saw episode 15. Overall, the issue of MARTIN not wanting a transfusion with WILL's blood (since he's gay) was well-handled. However, when GRACE got angry at him, he said (referencing episode 5) "We already did the Me Too thing. There was learning, I heard you, but this is not the time to talk about this." That was offensive too. Why didn't the episode go back to that?
