I might as well write here that I've received nothing from anyone I've e-mailed as of yet. Make of that what you may.

Being ignored by the literati , eh Salzmank ?! I've had that happen too ! D'Arc probably has his own priorities , and I wouldn't be surprised if he does reply , but in a fortnight to a month ! My average has been anywhere between 5-8 weeks , and I actually had someone once reply 3 years later , when it had been nearly forgotten by me ! It isn't over till we hear the song (and know who sang it!) .

Gee, I hope D'Arc does respond (and, possibly, Warner Bros. too)! All right, I'll keep my eye open for it from any time between a fortnight to a month. (I hope it doesn't take 3 years!) As always, thanks for all the good advice, Paislene.

OK, just want to let everyone following this mystery know--
I haven't yet received a response from D'Arc, but I just tried e-mailing him again and received one of those auto-response messages, saying, "James D'Arc is currently Away."
Nothing much, but thought I'd let you all know.

Hey, everyone—
Jackpot!
I just received an e-mail from D'Arc. He states that, while this request is unusual and he normally couldn't do anything without my being a patron of the BYU library, because the mystery has been going on so long and he's curious about it now, he's going to start investigating anyway.
So, uh—how's that for news?
Of course, he may not discover anything and we'll have to go back to the drawing board once again, but it's a definite step in the right direction!

Bump. Don't know if anyone here has looked at the other thread, but everything with D'Arc didn't pan out.
