So the other night I was served by a really cute girl at my local KFC. The kind you don't see very often. Very beautiful. As she gave me my food I noticed that she was wearing a crucifix necklace and I was like dang, she must be religious and probably a bad person, therefore I am no longer interested and is not worth going after her.
But then later that night I thought about it and realize it was wrong of me to presume someone who wears a crucifix is religious. Perhaps she was just a fan of the story of Jesus Christ (which is indeed a great story). Is that really any different than if she was wearing something like Frodo's ring or Slytherin's Locket? They are just memorabilia from popular fantasy stories when you think about it. It doesn't mean you have to believe the stories are real, right?
So what do you guys think? What percentage of crucifix bearers do you think are actually believers?

One of my friends wears a crucifix, because he got it from his grandmother and its means a lot to him. Another friend of mine wears a star of david out of respect for his family history. Both are atheist. So yeah, not everyone that wears it, is religious. I do think that most who wear it are religious.

Yeah, I'd have to agree. It's rare that non-religious girls wear a crucifix; you have to watch those Catholic girls.
I have a necklace that I wear very rarely, because it has a number of different religious symbols on it, a sitting Buddha, a Jain symbol, a Star of David, a Hindu Ganesha, a crystal, and a few other things - point being, COEXIST, for pete's sake!!! But worn in certain company, it's gonna to get me in trouble.

If you're looking for a hot, heavy and dirty time - go for it. Christian girls can just go to confession on Sunday and fix whatever nastiness they got into on Friday and Saturday night. Conservative girls are turning into the fun ones, and the Liberal girls are turning into the uptight ones.

I used to wear a crucifix necklace but kept it underneath my shirt. Unfortunately, the cross fell off the necklace and I haven't wore one since. As for what I feel about those who wear them, more power to them. It's a sign of religious expression, but not everyone who wears a crucifix is a Christian or follow and speak in the ways of Jesus Christ.

I am ambivalent on this topic, since I don't wear any kind of bling bling, and not even a wristwatch.

I have several rosaries that are all different colours. I used to have a crucifix necklace but didn't wear it, I gave it to someone.

Not all people who wear crucifixes are religious, and not all people who are religious are "bad people".

That they are Christian and see the lord God\Jesus—whichever one it is supposed to be, they can't ever make up their mind—as their savior. Steer clear. They are deluded.

Or maybe that message is misunderstood. Very misunderstood, but a belief that plays over and over and over and over ad infinitum in their heads, like a stylus needle caught in a scratched record grove. The cross is going to save them.....
