Texas has 2 great receivers in Johnson and Humphrey, they are destroying the Sooners weak secondary. Ehlingher (prolly misspelled it) is really impressing me here. Dude came to play. Will today be the story of the unsung QBs? Fowles has been pretty underrated because he hasn't put up the video game numbers of Murray and Tua, but he's got the Dawgs in potential position for the CFP. Likewise Ehlingher with the Big 12 title. I realize that's apples and oranges, but for a program that hasn't won a title since 2009, this is a big step. Who the fuck is Fowles?

Yeah it’s a make up game after the hurricane caused a bunch of games to be postponed in Week 3, NCST and Va Tech are playing today as well.

Kirk Herbstreit is a wise man and Hell has officially frozen. Instead of pushing for ohio st to be in playoffs the wise Mr Herbstreit says Georgia should be in even IF they lose a close game to bama. UGA one of top 4 regardlessI have been saying this for a while. Kirk is a wise and benevolent man. Former Dawg David Pollack is a traitorous pile of elephant dung though. Fuck him. GO DAWGS!!!!!!!!!!! Who else is pumped for a day of awesome football, food, booze, bong hits and camaraderie?!!!! @screamingtreefrogs Georgia or bama? Not who do you think wins but who do you HOPE wins? Huh? Where my fellow DAWGS at? Or barring that where my fellow sick of douchebag saban and bama always winning at? Lets band together in spite my brothers if nothing else. WOOF WOOF WOOF WOOF!!!!!!!!!!! poelzig, it was never about disrespect towards your university - just like Oklahoma and Clemson and to a lesser extent Notre Dame and to a much lesser extent Ohio State and to a much much lesser extend in 'Bama. i'd just like some variety with the UCFs and Wash States of the world getting a 'chance'. that being said - if Georgia beats Bama today - I have a feeling they will both get in the Final 4. and me personally I just can't have that. so Roll Tide! - then I hope the get creamed in the first game of the Playoff

I hate urban Meyer, Brutus Buckeye (their mascot os a fucking nut, FFS), the "Big Horseshoe", Woody Hayes, the whole nine yards. And the "one loss conference champ over a two loss runner up" isn't my biggest argument. My biggest knock against Georgia is their non-conference schedule Austin Peay Middle Tennessee State UMass Georgia Tech The instate rivalry game is fine. But Austin Fucking Pee? And UMass? They aren't the only SEC team to play a joke of a non-conferece schedule. But the NCAA has to send a message for the big conference to stop this pitiful scheduling. And taking Georgia out of the playoff would be a message. Really want to send a message, take out Alabama if they lose to UGA. Two Sun Belt teams and The Citadel? I guess North Dakota State School for the Insane and Malnourished (North Dakota I&M for those who don't know) was busy.

Average college fans say "Derp him just game manager derp fart" Fromm has really been impressive in the last few games IMO, he benefits from having a great rushing attack but he’s a good QB. The Dawgs are red hot right now, they have a chance at beating Bama IMO.

Average college fans say "Derp him just game manager derp fart" He's a gamer. And he's on a more complete team than, say, Haskins or Murray. (I won't say Tua, because Alabama is a much more complete team than either OSU or OU.) That's why, to a certain type of casual fan, those guys make so much more noise.

I guess North Dakota State School for the Insane and Malnourished (North Dakota I&M for those who don't know) was busy. I agree that SEC teams should generally schedule better out of conference, but in this case scheduling didn't make much of a difference. Here's Ohio State's three nonconference games (they play a 9-game conference slate): -- Oregon State (one of the worst P5 teams in the country) -- TCU (credit for scheduling a big game, but TCU went 6-6) -- Tulane (G5 team) Now here's Oklahoma's; they also play a 9-game stretch in the Big 12: -- FAU (G5) -- UCLA (went 3-9) -- Army (credit where credit's due to the 9-2 Black Knights. I've got them at #10 in my Super Sixteen, BUT: this was clearly meant to be a squash for Oklahoma -- and they needed overtime to win!) So throwing out UGA's FCS win over Austin Peay altogether, I don't see how the other three FBS games (Tech, UMass, and MidTenn State) are any worse than what Georgia's "peers" at this point played out of conference. There's the separate issue of scheduling the FCS game where both the Buckeyes and the Sooners played in conference. But honestly: is there any team in the SEC, even Arkansas, as bad as Rutgers (whom OSU beat in week two) or KU (whom Oklahoma beat two weeks ago)? That's debatable. Innit? I've made my feelings known earlier in the thread, but I thought this was worth some discussion. Cheers. ETA: what say you, poelzig?

Sun Belt Title is a good game, Appalachian State up 17-16 on Louisiana. I like the Group of 5 conference titles, it gives you a chance to see teams that you don't usually get to see in action.

I am getting stuff together to go watch game with former college roommates or I would have replied to goodman already. I was just going to point out most strength of schedule sites have Georgia in top 10 despite a few weak opponents so you did a much more thorough job.

And we discussed the FCS thing to death earlier in the season, and I'm not reversing on that, but it's like: if there's any P5 program you could credibly argue is comparable to a FCS team, it's probably Oregon State, Rutgers, and Kansas. And Ohio State played two out of the three! Oklahoma played the other one. So, I have a hard time holding Austin Peay and the rest of those nonconference opponents against the Dawgs -- in this context.
