HOLY SHIT, WHAT AN OUTSTANDING GAME!!!! Alabama wins the SEC Title and will get the 1 seed in the playoffs, Hurts was brilliant, it’s so bizarre how Tua relieved a struggling Hurts and beat Georgia last year and this year Hurts relieved a struggling Tua and beats Georgia.
I said at the time when the Dawgs missed the FG that would make it a 3 possession game that it was a huge momentum shifter and it was, Bama dominated from that point on, and Kirby faking the punt was an epically stupid decision, it was 4th and 11, they should’ve pinned Bama deep, Hurts isn’t a great passer and they would’ve been in a much better position.

All of the night games are letdowns after the fantastic SEC Title Game.
I would love to see Northwestern upset the Suckeyes.
Clemson is up 14-10 on Pitt.
Fresno St up 10-7 on Boise St in the snow in Boise.

is there anyway we can end all of these bullshit East/West split conferences so a dud like Northwestern isn't in the conference title game
as a fan - i'd rather see Ohio State vs. Michigan II, or Michigan State, or Penn State - hell give me Maryland again for Christs Sakes

Well I think the 4 playoff teams will be
1 Alabama
2 Clemson
3 Notre Dame
4 Oklahoma
That’s who the 4 playoff teams should be IMO.
I can’t wait to see where everyone winds up and what the bowl matchups are, always fun to watch!!

welp. I guess it's Georgia vs. Penn State in the Citrus Bowl Projection is looking like Georgia-Texas in the Sugar Bowl New Years night. Rose Bowl = Ohio State vs Washington, and Fiesta some grouping of LSU, Central Florida, Michigan, and Florida. Whichever two don't get in the Fiesta Bowl would end up in the Peach Bowl (which is played on the 29th). |
