This looks very promising! My favorite books by King are The Stand, It and The Talisman. Fingers crossed this deliver.

Already, I saw a few diversions in this adaptation. I just hope they don't make Pennywise always look terrifying, or else it defeats the purpose of being Pennywise. I'll take a gander at it. I fear that they are going to make Pennywise always terrifying and like you said, that defeats the purpose. What worries me most is they show the sewer drain scene in the trailer and unlike the TV movie he looks really scary right off the bat, where as Curry plays him friendly at first in order to lure the kid. As an adult that is one of the few scenes that remains scary.

But you know the inevitable comparisons are going to be made to Curry.
