Small nay for me. Can't say I enjoy most of it, but I don't hate it.

How do you feel about it overall? I'll just ignore it until it's all over and done with.
And the sooner the better.

super excited.
was looking for any orphan homes or seniors homes if they do “give christmas to one of outr residents” but surprisingly couldnt find any. too bad. would have loved to host a person in need/without a family for whom it might be otherwise sad to be alone/be where they normally would be.

Wow, that’s awesome! Maybe you have to sign up really early? I was looking for a place to take my niece and nephew to volunteer for a couple hours but they were all booked up. Figured I should have signed us up in October.

Yay because Christmas still lights up the dreary weeks before winter. November is my absolute least fav month of the year & it's not close - so having December & Christmas chase that is an easy bonus. I've also grown to love how easy it is to move on after January 1st into a fresh new year. If Christmas were a lingering thing weeks into January, then it'd scuk.

I like it. If life is going well, then it's very enjoyable. If life isn't going well, at least you can have a little time for happiness.

I made it a meh! Can live with it and can live without it too. I am not religious and it is also commercialized crap as well. For my 2 hot homies though, Nora and CynicalDreamer2 , your spirits shine and soar.

I will make one exception to my overwhelming NAY vote... In a town close to me, a thoughtful and anonymous person has created a phenomenon known as 'The Magic Tree'. It's a fairly small deciduous tree that looses it's leaves in autumn, and right before Thanksgiving, volunteers drape every bare branch with multi-colored lights. The tree sits about 100 yards from a major highway that gets commuter traffic every day, and in the dark daily commute, this tree is a sight for sore eyes. Each year, it represents a local charity, and people can donate to that charity. The tree stays lit until Jan. 1, and is to me the only cheerful, hopeful thing - a pagan light festival that gives back to the community.
