New poster has her looking more scowling than ever before. Whats the odds the new trailer tonight will have her still brooding throughout?

The brightness and rainbow effects are similar to Ragnarok and Guardians style posters. Whats more funny is that Marvel are clearly copying Dark Phoneix PR material but just adding overload of colour to fit their childish tone.

If the leak is true, this will not be a smileing type of film.

There's color in real life you know.

I can't think of a single superhero movie where the hero is smiling in the poster. Why should this one be any different?
That poster is awesome as heck BTW.

It's almost as if the human eye can discern different colors, and Disney knows this.

X-Men and DCEU movies try just as hard to attract kids. They all want the exact same audience. Disney is just better at it. Disney is better at most things.

I don't remember anyone complaining about too much color in the Raimi Spider-Man films and those films have the same aesthetic as the MCU. Why do they get a pass?

Just last week on this very board a poster proved it was true by posting a lengthy list of photos and links of X-Men movie universe being marketed to kids. Everything from happy meal toys to Professor X on a box of twinkies.

Everything from happy meal toys to Professor X on a box of twinkies. Mr. Kleinreturns yes I saw that. That is merchandising though which is separate from movie PR. Even R Rated Logan had toys selling for it and that's defo not a kids film Its hard to say that Non-Marvel Studios productions market their movie products as much to kids as Disney-MCU flicks, if you look at things like posters colour pallets, PG13 violence, profanity, nudity within the movies themselves. Anyway this is off topic, this thread is about Carol Danvers lack of diverse facial emotions.

Merchandise that is produced before the movie and advertised in commercials that end in "see the movie" are movie PR. Professor X on a box of twinkies before the movie comes out is meant to get twinkie eaters to see the movie. Also, there is no more violence, profanity or nudity in X-Men PG-13 movies then there is in MCU PG-13 movies. Also, X-Men trailers and commercials are run before the same pg-13 and family movies and during the same family and kids TV shows and on the same websites as MCU trailers and commercials are.
