We have three movies titled just Halloween, two titled Halloween II. What is the next Halloween film going to be titled?

Evil Dead, I guess. But its hard to say. I honestly don't think any one series/franchise is so consistently good in every installment that I would nominate an entire series/franchise as my favorite. So maybe Evil Dead and the ones that James Wan does...?

How nastier could that movie get?

Probably Scream, since I actually enjoy all 4 of them.

Nightmare on Elm Street. Even at its worst, it's consistently fun, creative, and lead by a great performance in Robert Englund (of course, none of these things apply to the remake). I went to a cast/crew signing back in 2010 for the documentary and have a crapload of merchandise. So yeah, big fan.
Also a Scream fan, though at this point I dislike more Scream media than enjoy it. Hoping to see that new season of the show eventually even if it probably sucks.
Final Destination is up there as well.

The DCU - terrifying movies! I’m disappointed, Norm. I thought you were going to say Häns Haferflöcken’s posting history.

Lets assume four movies or more standard as that really limits the field for me...
1)Child's Play (series) (I mildly like all seven movies) 2)Scream (series) (I mildly like all four movies) (NOTE: in fact, I viewed the movies in August. although... it was my first viewing of the 4th movie and I think the 3rd one to and might have been my first proper viewing of the 2nd movie as I am not sure if I seen that from beginning to end before but I might have but I know I never seen the 4th movie til this past August.)
that's about all that comes to mind off the top of my head as I don't really consider myself much of a Horror fan in general but I do like some here and there.
p.s. although when it comes to Horror movies that's good enough for me to call a favorite (i.e. as in movies I score a 7/10 or higher) the field is very limited at this point, which are... 1)Interview with the Vampire (1994)(8/10) 2)The Fly (1986)(7/10). but to list the rest that are close to My Favorite Movies level... Byzantium (2012-2013)(6-6.5/10)/The Neon Demon (2016)(6-6.5/10)/The Last House on the Left (2009)(6-6.5/10).

The Alien franchise has to win. Most horror series' have some terrible movies in there somewhere. I hated Alien Covenant and Alien 4 isn't good either, even so, I still think the franchise is well ahead of the curve.
