Excepting quality of film, what are some trailers that promised something significantly different than what the actual films delivered?

The first trailer that I saw for Stargate (1994), heavily promoted the Sci-Fi elements of the film...
I was expecting a movie, similar to a "Star Wars" film...
But, When I saw the movie, it turned out to be more like an "Indiana Jones" film...
Not that there is anything wrong with that, because I like the "Indiana Jones"...
I just wasn't expecting there to be "boring" desert scenes in the film... And there were quite a few of them! LOL!
While the film did not meet my "Expectations"... I still greatly enjoyed the film!
One of my favorites. 8/10

The Drive (2011) trailer made the movie look like a slightly more deep Fast and the Furious with lots of car chases.

The marketing for the Direct-to-DVD sequel "Escape Plan 2" makes it seem like Sylvester Stallone and Dave Bautista have big roles in the film even though they're only in the film for about 10 minutes at most.

Kangaroo Jack promised a talking kangaroo movie for kids. Turned out the kangaroo only spoke once in a dream sequence, and the rest of the movie was a crude buddy comedy cut down to PG.
I think Snow Dogs did the same thing regarding talking animals.

Never stopped being unimpressed with the first Avengers Infinity War for showing Hulk running into battle with some of the other Avengers. As if they're not going to make dizzying levels of money with a trailer that doesn't pull scenes that didn't happen out of its ass.

I think Snow Dogs did the same thing regarding talking animals. You're Right. It Did. The scene where the dogs were sitting on beach chairs & laughing.
