Nothing special, maybe a pizza or the Shepherds pie I bought from Schwan's (its really a cottage pie since its made with beef, not lamb but they called it a shepherds pie - remind the lengthy discussion about this on the old IMDb Food & Drink board?)

I do remember. That discussion surfaced a few times (almost every time anyone mentioned either shepherd's, or cottage pie. Those were fun times.

I don't really plan meals. I never cook.

I learned to never plan around the McRib's schedule. If it's here during Christmas, then that is both my meal and my gift.

I'll be in a hotel. So, it will be in their dining room, for one of their seatings.

I cannot imagine Christmas dinner without turkey, simply because it was always a family tradition. Ours was almost identical to a Thanksgiving dinner. But a friend of mine has always has surf and turf with his wife and kids. He cooks filet mignon, his son cooks lobster and his daughter makes shrimp pacifica. He usually has some leftovers for me which I look forward to.

Baked ham and mashed taters. Change of plans. A hunter friend of mine has brought me a large package of venison steaks and venison sausage, so this will now be our Christmas dinner. For sides I'm thinking fresh-baked Italian bread, baked potatoes and corn-on-the-cob.
