I don’t watch the Oscars so it’s not a huge beef for me. Also I actually think Hart is a funny guy. Same and he's completely fine but they're mistaken if they think he's gonna singlehandedly rescue the awards show from its viewership problems. |

I think he has the comic swagger to pull it off, but yeah, the show needs to trim down on the filler sketches. There will always be politics involved so there's no denying that, but don't make it the focus of the show.

I sure as hell hope he, as well as future hosts, doesn't do things like hand out food to people in the audience, surprise an auditorium of fans with movie star appearances, do some big selfie, etc. Those are a complete waste of time. |
